I got into a bad relationship that caused me chronic stress and one day I woke up with a form of tightness in my chest and since then it has never gone....doesn't get better, doesn't get worst....its there all the time, because of my serious health anxiety I think I'm about to drop dead everyday....2yrs later, 2 ecg's, 2 x-rays and I'm still alive! Doctors are clueless with me and no matter hoe much they reassure me I wont listen.

well home pregnancy terst never worked for me and i have two children. but maybe you took the test too early.. another thing that happens is you want a baby so bad ou test your self your pregnant and your body acts as if it is.. or another reason is your hormones levels are too high- so there are all kinds of signs but i would try another test and if it is neg be sure and just get blood work done.

What color is your spotting and do you have any server cramping? I had brown spotting but no cramps at 10 weeks. Doctor had me on rest until the next appointment, which was thankfully 2 days away. They did an ultrasound and baby was completely healthy and fine. My doctor said some brown spotting is usually old blood. As long as you don't have server cramping and pink or red spotting you should be okay but call your doctor and let them know. Just relax, stress can add to the problem.

When I get off of work I usually have about 45 minutes before my youngest son (11) gets home to rest then I will make him his snack then go back to sleep for about another hour until my oldest son (12) comes home! for the most part they are very good about letting me sleep, but there are also days when they want my full attention!

Depression is not normally treated with opiates, but rather with antidepressants, which are specifically formulated for that purpose, and are nto addictive ( although patients may experience discontinuation syndrome, and therefore need to be tapered off them if they discontinue them). Hi I am having all kinds of stress over and even back in Feb. I posted that 3-4 weeks after my oral sex event [performing on a guy] I developed some tender neck glands and some lesions on my calf. I panicked and got tested for HIV,HSV1&2 and HHV8 all Neg. The reason I am still here is about 7 weeks after my exposure with these guys is my wife came down with flu like symptoms that lasted a day and a half. She had a server back pain, nausea diarrhea,and dry heaves. Her temp was elevated 100.

That could be a combination of my computer and possibly when the server here is under stress...for lack of a better term for badwidth usage...

A nuclear stress test is only about 85% accurate for females....... just something to keep in mind. A regular stress test is even less.

You got same symptoms m8?? tell me what u been going through, c if its sim to mine, ive just been for my 30th blood test over 4 months lol.

i have no issues with a pregnant server. my sister in law is a server at a diner and she worked up to her due date with both pregnancies. if you can physically do the job, don't let anyone stop you!

I do suffer huge amounts of stress in my relationship as my partner has a ex wife who causes arguments everyday. On a stress test, based on my answers, I scored 40/50....symptoms including: high anxiety levels, depression, aches and pains, hair loss, mind ocd etc. I do sometimes ask myself is stress the answer to everything?

I can produce a numbert of different opinions what is the appropriate heart rate and so on with exercising. The best method for someone with a heart issue is to have a stress test. A stress test is oftened done for the purpose of learning the degree of tolerance/risk one can safely do. The rule of thumb stated is not recommended for someone who has heart issues. You will be safe to engage in exercising according to METs.

and one other thing if there was something wrong with my heart would it have shown during the stress test?

Had a nuclear treadmill stress test done while taking the test the whole time the nurse held me up from behind 2 hands on back because i stated i had back problems and as soon as test started she began this procere is this comman practice?

thankyou for responding, yes had the test reached my target heart rate , but didnt feel like i had exerted myself enough to give my heart a real test, thankfully nothing showed, but wish i had some answers to the chest pain that goes down my left arm, and cardioligist says its nothing, well its not nothing its very disturbing actually put me on lipitor as bad cholestrol is 7 oh well if i cark it least i know nothing was wrong..

My doctor has ordered a non stress test for me if I go over my due date. I think they just want to make sure that the baby is doing well because the placenta starts to age at the end of pregnancy so they monitor the baby's heart rate for a bit to make sure the baby is getting enough nutrients and oxygen, I think it's routine.

I have had all bloodwork, sonogram, and biopsy. The nurse forgot to make an apt last month for a stress test the Hepa ordered so now it will be another month before the Cardiologist can see me. My question is: Does everyone have a stress test before starting treatment? I am 56 and in good health, weight, and somewhat athletic. Is a stress test necessary? I am Genotype 2b; I only have to do six months SOC and was hoping to finish treatment before summer.

Do they do stress test for everyone? If so when do they do it?

I have had two sets of chest xrays done and they show nothing as well. I went in for a stress test and it appeared to be "abnormal". I went in for an angiogram and the doctor assures me that my heart is in excellent shape except for a very small blockage. I continue to have the tightness in my chest and the feeling of being flush. I have a blood pressure of 100 over 60 and a pulse of 72. I have had no other problems in the past. I am at a loss as to where to go next.

If so, they can give you something for your anxiety. I had the treadmill stress test and I was able to take a xanax. If it's the other one that's a medicine induced stress test where you lay on a table, then I'm not sure. Is your Dr. wanting you to get this test done? Has the chest pain went away since you started using your inhaler? You know anxiety can give alot of us shortness of breath and chest pains.
