I was in the fish market last three weeks ago for our one week supply of food.. I was way home and hit my feet with concrete of electrical post in our place. When i was hit i check the concrete and i did not see any needle on it..there's a small wound on my feet with small blood on it...when i reached my house i clean the fish and accidentally prick my fish with his pin..Now it is three weeks and since that day may hearth did not stop for palpitation..

Do they do stress test for everyone? If so when do they do it?

However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.

Of course i had the ct with my heart at rest before the stress test and then after the stress test... But am wondering what you would think is possibly going on. My maternal grandfather died because his heart actually exploded and my father himself has had bypass surgery... so there is a hitory in our family all my sibling's take meds for high blood pressure and one sister takes heart medication already ... Could you please let me knwo what your thgouhts are on this ...

They want to do a chemical stress test using lexiscan drug. I am terrified, should I be? I read so many bad experiences with this type of test.. I heard the drug stops your heart...

No. NST's are normal at this point. They just want to make sure they baby isn't having any issues. With my first I went 5 days passed due and had NSTs weekly from 38 weeks on. With #2 same thing only they didn't like what they saw the day before the due date and induced labor due to erratic fetal heart beat. She was and is totally fine and healthy though.

I also have this rash on my forehead that looks like bad small acne bumps and little red bumps that appear on my arm that don’t itch. The nurse drawing my blood for the test just had to state that my body may take up to 6 months and now I’m freaking out all over again....I’m sure you all may be annoyed by these questions. But should I test at 6 months and what are the possibilities that it just may actually come back positive...

You never had a risk in the first place and therefore you wasted time and money testing for nothing,not to mention the stress you put yourself through which was not justified.

thankyou for responding, yes had the test reached my target heart rate , but didnt feel like i had exerted myself enough to give my heart a real test, thankfully nothing showed, but wish i had some answers to the chest pain that goes down my left arm, and cardioligist says its nothing, well its not nothing its very disturbing actually put me on lipitor as bad cholestrol is 7 oh well if i cark it least i know nothing was wrong..

You had no risk for HIV. Any test you take at any time will be conclusive, because you're testing for a disease that you cannot possibly have.

Hello. I received negative test (blood) results for HIV at the one and three month mark after a high risk incident. I am not 100% sure what specific type of test it was, but it was given to me by my public health clinic. At what point can I be 100% sure I am negative? Thank you.

I got a call from the specialist ive been seeing for my high risk pregnancy saying that my other doctor scheduled a none stress test for me for tomorrow Im a little scared what might happen cause you usually get those atleast 3-4 weeks before your due date I still have 7 weeks. This means that a portion of your heart showed a diminished area of blood flow during the stress part of your test. Was your stress test a Thallium of Myoview stress test? These are much more accurate in detecting heart disease than a normal stress test. If the area has a diminished blood flow with no cell damage it means you most likely have not suffered a heart attack and the area can be opened with a stent, a very common procedure these days.

Hello all I recently got an HIV test and am waiting for the results. I have had unprotected sex with about 3 girls that I did not know their sexual background, though they were friends of friends. It all happened about 1 - 1.5 years ago, and they were all one night stands. No one I know is HIV+. These girls seemed relatively "clean", though I got HPV from one of them (noticed some tiny flesh colored bumps, confirmed by doctor).
