So do you test fasting glucose in the morning occationaly with a home meter? Is this as accurate for a fasting glucose test as going to the dr 's lab? I think I need to get one of these home testers.

Im extremely overweight and I just found out I have gestational diabetes, and I still feel like I have the right as pregnant lady to have something "bad" every once in a while. If u don't have gets. diabetes then dont stress. A big Mac is not gonna hurt ur baby.

t know whether the doctor wants a sputum test or what. We read that the sputum test could come out negative for MAC, but that the doctor would continue to treat with antibiotics for an additional six months. Naturally, we're hoping for a negative result from any test. I will post his results and treatment plan following his appointment this week. Thanks again. We appreciate your expertise.

I had the same problem my first trimester. It was gone for my second but it's coming back again. I tried sleepy time tea and a hot bath before bed to help me sleep. The mood swings... I would and do talk to my friends and family to vent about things. I mean I cry over clean folded laundry because I didn't have to do it and I was so happy. I also had a melt down and got in a huge fight with my boyfriend over what silverware to use eating mac n cheese....

So, eating hot dogs is definately out of the question but my 4 yr old kept pushing for "pigs in a blanket". So, I got some ham & bacon bits and shredded cheese and gonna roll that up in a biscuit to cook it. Then mac & cheese, green beans & applesauce. Then for dessert we got some no bake oreo cheese cake stuff. Im so hungry & inpatient!

My doctor did a biopsy that showed no malignancy but the lab threw away the sample to test for MAC and my doctor says another broncoscopy is the only way to get a good sample and I don't want to go through another one. The doctor wants to go ahead and treat me for MAC for 18 months with 3 antiobiotics. I hesitate to do this without a definitive diagnosis because antibiotics are extremely hard on my stomach. I am baffling to my doctor because I don't have all the symptoms.

I hope this is true. I am scarred for life from Incivek and relapsed in 3 weeks. I am counting down the last few weeks until I get to 24-week labs from S/O; was UND at 12-week labs. I so hope this is true.
