I have hypertension and take Lotrel 10/20 and hydrochlorthiazide 25mg. I also had a nuclear adenosine stress test recently. The results of this test showed an area of reduced counts in the inferior wall after administration of adenosine and at rest. The ejection fraction was estimated at 49%. At the time of this test I was taking 25 mg of metoprolol in addition to the Lotrel and hydrochlorthiazide.

I had a stress test, blood work, EKg's basically every test. All my test passed. They just wanted to do an Angiogram to see if there were any problems. That is when they found the blockages. My Dr,s were shocked to find them. I had 1 stent put in, and an Angioplasty in the other due to I need a 2 mm stent that is drug eluding, but it is currently not availiab...
If it is arteritic then large doses of oral cortison are needed to get the sed rate down. The section on emedicine is especially good.
If its non-arteritic there is no treatment for the eye problem and visual recovery is usually good. Again emedicine entry is excellent.
s a very complicated disease and not easy to describe. I suggest you do internet search on WebMD or emedicine and see if you have any further questions. Starbursts are not a common symptoms in AZOOR and more suggestive of cataracts, cornea problems, need for glasses or new glasses RX or macular problems.
I have had uveitis (inflamtion in both eyes ) for 3 yrs now been living on predasone drops and ive had blood test to run out different diease's and to this day no one seem's to know what is causing this. it all started after i went to chiroprator and he poped my neck and 5 mins my eye's went red and was in ER with inflamtion in eye . can having your neck poped cause this . my left eye is now having blurry vision . will this ever go away?
It was " suggested " that I have a stress test. It's not mandatory so I'm wondering if I should have one done at all. Has anyone had a stress test? If so what did the results reveal?
In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.

Has anyone taken a stress test ? My doctor got me so worried. I told him today at my appt that my baby doesn't move as much as he use to everyone else told me it's bcuz he's losing space. So I wasn't too concerned and now my doc wants to make sure everything is okay so tomorrow I'm going in for a stress test . Has anyone done this? I'm pretty worried now :( I just want everything to be okay.
So I am 37 yrs old and had to do stress test on my last appt which I was 37 weeks and failed and was hooked up to machine for almost an hour so sent me to have ultrasound and baby seemed fine but I feel as if she isnt moving as much and I know towards the end they run out of room but im nervous any ideas this is my 3rd child
There is a non stress test AND a stress test.... There are different reasons for both. During a non stress test they hook you up to a monitor and just keep an eye on baby's movements and heart rate... During a stress test they hook you up to a monitor but they induce contractions to see how baby reacts.
