Avatar m tn result on a NAT Test considering their viral load being extremely low to no due to non progression or drugs prescribed to them. 3. Undetectable is a terminology that is associated with the antigen testing as they directly look for the gentic HIV material unlike the antibody test which looks for the immune response to the infection, an antibody test result is often declared as present / absent or positive / negative. Avatar n tn I agree a stress test whether with echo or nuclear should be entertained. I would have the patient walk if possible to try and reproduce the symptoms but also consider O2 saturation monitoring with the exercise to evaluate his pulmonary function with this. With his tobacco use lung problems may also exist.

1563685 tn?1310402354 Hello people, So I've read through the site as well as quite a lot of the discussions, in which the possibility of transmission from a sexual act is defined by one in (the number) exposures. The question I have in mind for some time after reading all of them is: How do you guys here in the site define an exposure? Is it the number of acts done during the encounter (for example, the number of licking done during an oral sex), or the number of encounters?

Avatar f tn In a low risk pregnancy a non stress test or stress test would only be warranted if their was a concern. However diabetics (both gestational and non) have a higher rate of stillborn babies (still rare, but better to be safe) so its common practice to keep a closer eye as the pregnancy nears the end.
