It is very pain and it really hurts on weight bearing. It is also painful at the back of my leg when I walk. Could you explain what a stress line is? and how long it will take to heal. I have bechets disease and I am on azathioprine treatment. I have also got surgical menopuase, I had my ovaries out 9 years back. I am on HRT.

Physiotherapy may help improve the symptoms by working on exercises that would help improve movement and strength and hence seeing a physiotherapist is advisable in the situation. Avatar f tn Hi, I'm a 21 year old guy who completed a tuberculosis treatment 6 month a go. My current weight is 65kg and I'm 164cm tall. About two month ago I have been having a a very bad violent cough. The doctor had me an x ray and said my lung is clear. I have no fever and other tb symptoms. He gave me asthma medication since I'm an asthmatic. The cough do subside but doesn't go away completely it still lingering. I think it's pertussis since it has a paroxysmal characteristic.

During that time I was in the Army and had already been diagnosed with plantar fascistis, heel spur, bone spur in my ankle, and possible osteoarthritis in my midfoot. The doctor said that I could just wear a boot for 3 weeks and then it would be fine.

Avatar m tn Again it is exacerbated by stress or caffeine. For these symptoms, the best treatment is to reduce the caffeine intake and/or reduce the stress. If the twitches are bothersome or disabling, medical treatment may be necessary. This will need to be at the discretion of your physician. I would recommend that you cut back your caffeine (sodas, coffee, tea, power/energy drinks, etc) and get adequate sleep. If possible, you will also need to reduce your stress.

Avatar f tn I recently had a stress test and was told that the results were not clear. My cardiologist suggests a 64 slice coronary ct to rule out blockages. I had no pain or symptoms while on the treadmill. He said that it may be purely anatomical as women's breast tissue can complicate the reading of the pictures. Coincidentally, my left breast was radiated for 8 weeks due to intraductal carcinoma 19 years ago. Could this effect the pictures?

Avatar f tn If you get these types of headaches frequently (more than 3 or 4 a year) it would be wise for you to mention it to your primary doc. There a couple of different types of headaches that last more than a day or so, and different types of medications that will help to either prevent them, or 'rescue' you if the preventative doesn't work. Meanwhile, you can also try heat or ice (whichever seems like it would be more comfortable).

After it passed, I had 6 months of just an odd sensation of touch on my pinky and no numbness at all.
