Before this happed I had a red spot on the roof of my mouth that felt like it move to my throat and cause a very mild pain when swallowing but really keep me from eating or smoking. Now I have pain in my jaw when I open my mouth. I think I have a bad bite but still I never had jaw pain. I'm really stresses out about this whole situation and I just wanna know should I get tested at six weeks and should I be worried?

Over the course of a few weeks the pain started to subside and my jaw began to relax... Heat packs on my jaw to soothe the pain... He also suggested certain exercises to strengthen my neck and back muscles because they were weak from all the tension... I also did acupuncture... It also helped to calm and relax my muscles... I have recently been going through all the same sort of symptoms as you have listed, including the jaw pain. I think it is hormone related as I have heard of other people going through it too. I am currently getting tested and may be referred to an endocrinologist shortly to find out if my symptoms are due to early menopause. So if I find out anymore about it, I will let you know.

the left side of my neck hurts toward the side (main muscle/tendon going down from the jaw to the shoulder, and under my jaw, from what I can tell is inside my jaw. there are ridges on my jaw towards my chin that hurt, and also the space in between my jaw hurts. Don't know if it is glandular or tmj related. odd stuff. Cannot see my doc until next Thursday. anything that I can do?

Does anyone suffer from lower jaw pain? I have intermittent pain on both sides of my lower jaw but chewing doesn't make the pain worse.

It is important that you heart signals be observed when you are experiencing the pain problems. Were in having any of your pain symptoms when an EKG was done? If yes, then a longer term monitor may not yield anything new.

I think in view of the recent normal stress test and Holter monitor, and how atypical the symptoms are for coronary artery disease, that this is more likely suggestive of a digestive disorder. It may be related to an esophageal hernia or to severe GERD. Aspirin can certainly aggravate these symptoms. I suggest that you speak to your GP and that he perhaps orders either a Barium swallow or a CT scan of the chest.

I have frequent jaw pain, jaw numness and jaw that crack when I chew on something at some point. I saw a dentist lately and he told me that everithing is normal with my teeth an jaw on the x-ray. I also have pain in my ears due to that! My best guess whould be that it is a Chiari symptome.

I have many of the symptoms of TMJ... there is definitely SOMETIHNG going on with my Jaw, but some things dont fit. When my jaw huts the worse I hear the most popping noises when I open my mouth, but it doesnt really seem to hurt and more when I DO open my mouth. Also some days it will feel just fine, and others it will hurt more often. Most of the time it will feel just fine in the morning and by 2 pm it will start hurting worse. I have a strange sensation along my jaw it is like a strong pulse and dull pain. It moves around, along the top of the jaw, underneath the jaw. Comes and goes. I am concerned. I have ear pain, and dizziness with some jaw pain and some tingling in my arm and fingers.. This is Making my head feel like it's swimming. I do have a tender spot about 4 inches above xypohoid process right in the middle that hurts to the touch. For four or five years I've a bump on my left rib and have had many panic attacks. I've had ex rays, and my colon looked at over the years. Doctors said that stress was causing my symptoms. m having sever chest pains, sometimes I get the other symptoms of pain going down my back and in my arms. I developed Acid Reflux about 6 weeks ago and I'm taking Nexium. Except for "mild" anemia, my tests were ALL good. So, after smoking only half a cigarette, I immediately got left side jaw pain.
