Avatar f tn I've been having quite a few problems lately, I have alot of different symptoms such as dizziness, feeling weak, sometimes feeling a bit of vertigo, at times difficult to breathe. I'm not sure what's wrong with me I haven't got to a doctor yet due to no insurance, but it's getting so bad that I'm about to check myself into a hospital. Does anyone have any ideas on what I may have?
Avatar m tn Thank you Dr. Kennedy for your prompt response. If ADHD is a possibility, would there be other symptoms? She is is a bright, empathetic child, who participates in many sports, extracurricular science, and piano. There has never been an issue with behavior or school work. We feel this "bouncing" may be in response to stress.
Avatar f tn I had doctors tell me the same thing but I can definitely say that my PVCs and PACS were made worse by hormones. When I became perimenopausal my symptoms became much worse. I am now in menopause and they haven't gotten any better. I am taking a beta blocker, bystolic, which has helped calm them down. You may want to ask your cardiologist if you could try one. And I'm sure you know, the more you stress and worry about them the worse they get.

Avatar n tn I recently had a second fine needle aspiration on a 2nd cyst. Prior to the biopsy the sonogram tech. found something strange in my cyst. At first the doctor said it looked like a pulse; however upon further review he said in the cyst there is what looks like a fish. He said he didn't want to sound disgusting in anyway but that is what it resembles, and it even has GILLS!!! He said as long as it doesn't get infected, it is fine and can stay in there forever.
Avatar n tn My 17 y.o son has been sufferring from daily nausea since September. He broke his ankle in a soccer game and had to have surgery to have pins/plate inseted. He had post-anesthesia vomitting. Ever since this traumatic event he has experienced daily/chronic nausea. Sometimes he will stop eating mid meal because of it.
Avatar m tn Is there anyone here with similar Hepatitis b status as me, and with similar symptoms? Is it normal to have these symptoms with my hbv diagnosis? Thanks for sharing your views.
Avatar m tn Have you ever been on anti-anxiety medication? In the meantime, exercise, relazation/meditation/yoga have given many people great relief in their anxiety issues.
Avatar f tn OK so I'm 6 weeks and 2 days pregnant. I am craving tuna and all types of fish. I stay away from the fish I can't eat and the ones I'm allergic to but damn these cravings. Oh and all I want to do is sleep. I don't want to do anything. I see myself taking about 2 naps a day along with a full 9 hours of sleep at bedtime. I don't feel like doing anything. My energy level is so low it's not even funny. I push through it and still do what needs to be done.
Avatar m tn I am a 56 year old female with a history of what has felt like "skipped beats" over many years. Just recently I began having 30-50 a day where I would only have about 3-5 in a month. I went to the doctor and my EKG was normal. Of course none of my symptoms happened during the EKG. I had blood tests and all came out ok. No difficulty breathing, no sharp pain, no dizziness, no pain down arm. I went in and had a 24 Holter Monitor and my results came in as stated in my last post.
1303604 tn?1273028384 Also, I would suggest an Adrenal Support to help repair your body, and to help your body to deal with any anxiety that you will go through through out life (unfortunately we cannot avoid stress/anxiety in everyday life, so we must guard our body with supplements and meditation techniques in order to cope with these stressors). Also, you could take fish oil and coq10 to help your heart and body to deal with the stress.
611184 tn?1222039645 ~ 25-30 years ago, I read an article that recommended taking the Omega-3 fish oils first thing in the morning on an empty stomach and avoid any other consumptions for 30 minutes...this suggestion was based on the fact that this kept the O3 from going through the digestive system process; and straight to the areas of the body that benefitted from the supplement. I take a tablespoon each morning and so far it's working..
Avatar f tn I think you should be Ok. I've been loving shrimp lately and I eat fish too. As long as it's not high in Mercury. . Which sometimes Tuna is but I heard white tuna in water is good. So I wouldn't worry. Omega 3s are good for baby.
Avatar m tn The greatest improvements were in depressive symptoms. The researchers noted that studies of fish oil in people with chronic (long-term) schizophrenia have shown mixed results, suggesting that fish oil may be more effective at early stages of the disease. Avatar n tn I don't disagree that a vegan diet can be healthy for some people. What I did say was based on my experience managing health food stores for 18 years, which is where most if not all vegans shopped because they couldn't get what they needed anywhere else. And I have to tell you, they did not eat well. I'm not sure if you're not confusing at least a bit vegetarians with vegans. No vegan eats fish once in a while; that isn't being vegan. Most vegetarians do.
Avatar f tn Tilapia has gotten some bad press lately, but it all depends on where it is farmed - or where in this case Applebees bought there fish. See this link to snopes - http://www.snopes.com/food/warnings/tilapia.asp I guess you could call the manager at Applebees and see where the fish came from. But since you ate around the uncooked part, that should have been helpful. And I doubt that that part of the fish was uncooked, but rather undercooked.
Avatar f tn s done and a stress test and everything came out fine. A week after his chest pain he started having numbness in his left arm...we thought this was heart again but since all the tests came out fine we didn't know what it was. A week later he started having tingling and numbness in both his wrists and fingers. When I researched about it it said it was carpal tunnel syndrome. What baffles me is how the digestion issue that came out of nowhere triggered all this.
Avatar n tn There are many things that trigger mine like caffeine, too much chocolate, stress, and fish oil. Many people can use fish oil and it helps, but for some of us it aggravates the arrythmia. I use magnesium and it does help me. Nature's Calm is the brand I use and it has made a big difference. Are you on any kind of meds?
Avatar f tn ) I only eat whole grains when I do do carbs and eat tons of organic fruit and veggies--no processed food. ANd put flaxseed on my cereal in the morning. I do suspect stress is the main culprit in my situation. Thanks for all the tips and reinforcement (btw, I've heard good things about Krill Oil and am planning on switching.
Avatar n tn The skin is the largest organ in the body, and it is very sensitive. Stress is known to alter our internal chemistry, and can cause a hormonal imbalance. This hormonal imbalance can significantly impact your overall health, and can affect the skin. So the answer to the question, can stress cause hives, is yes. It would be good for you to deal with any underlying cause that might be triggering this off. http://www.healthy-skin-guide.com/can-stress-cause-hives.
Avatar f tn It is funny, I am originally from Spain and my mother-in-law sent me a pregnancy book from there. While here they basically tell you to avoid fish as much as you can, in the book from Spain recommend to eat more fish (avoiding the high mercury ones, of course...tuna, swordfish.....).
Avatar f tn I think fish high in mercury.... i dont eat seafood so im not sure. I would do research cause i know theres different types. And you can only have so much of some i think?
Avatar f tn I'm 11 weeks but this is my third :) Make sure to take your prenatal vitamins and drink lots of water. Also make sure to get a list of safe meds and things you shouldn't eat while pregnant from your doctor. I have a list of safe fish in my journal that you can double check with your doctor. Mine says it's fine but every one is different. Don't stress if you don't gain a bunch of weight or you if you even lose some.
Avatar f tn ) I missed my first apt because the van broke down and I had no way of getting there :(
