How bad is stress during a pregnancy? What r the effects, specifically, that too much stress can have? Air hunger, anxiety and all of your symptoms are common for lyme, Babesia and Bartonella (common Lyme co-infections.) I had them all and was miserable for months until I was properly diagnosed. I was told my many doctors it was all in my head / stress / anxiety before getting properly diagnosed with lyme & co's. All of those symptoms are GONE today.

I wish I could tell you that this would not be the case, but everyone that I know who has had the chemical stress test had severe side effects from it. It was like a severe panic attack with sweating, feeling like they were going to pass out, sick to stomach, and headache. They were given something to counteract the side effect, which helped with these symptoms. It was pretty exhausting for them. Let us know how yours went if you decide to have it. I hope you can tell us differently.
I had a nuclear stress test. Before the stress part of the test my blood pressure was 213. The Dr said to go ahead with the test. During the test, I got cold and white, was unable to function well, semi unconsciousness, tremors particularly on the right arm, speech slurred, headache in the temple and forehead, fatigue. After many attempts to clear me from these side effects, they gave me a the antidote to the medication that they used.
Did I have a heart attack?
I have uncontrolled hypertension and began having nagging ache in my left arm, and occasional pain in my upper back, and ocaasional discomfort in my chest...so I had a thallium stress test...during the period in the test when they sent me home for a couple of hours and told me to return later, I had severe pain in both arms, was nauseated, and slept until time to go back...i told them about it, but they were not concerned...when i got the reults of the test, it wa normal...

chronic, perhaps only occasional (though no less tortuous, for that) manifestations of such stress-related symptoms; and, the development of disease in the longer term (cancers, for example), I, among others, am convinced of the critical reality of this relationship/connection. (Chronic dependence on cortisone, moreover, can only negatively impact the body's hormone balance, with far-reaching effects).
well those syptoms are common together, but it isnt something all people get.
if you have anxiety and brain fog take a shower as the steam and hotness may help, thats my advice for ya.
im a college student, so stress is a constant. but a year or so ago whenever it came to study my stomach would growl and i would kind of burp. except i wasnt burping, air was just escaping from my mouth. ive taken all kinds of antacids and nothing helps. i feel like its some kind of acid thing but it needs to stop! its so annoying. i cant even study in silence anymore becuase my stomach keeps acting up, and its really distracting.
I recently had a stress test with some ST depressions, which the cardiologists suspected to be a false positive. Nonetheless, to be on the safe side I was given a nuclear stress test - everything turned out just fine, my cardiologist said my heart is perfectly normal. The only problem was the high heart rate - when I went to get on the treadmill my heart rate jumped from 90 bpm to 145 bpm.
The imediate post-stress myocardial images show defect in the antero-apical and apical walls of the left ventrical. The overall size of the defect is small. Resting images show nearly complete normalization of these perfusion defects. In addition, prominent breast tissue attenuation artifact was noted. The patient had appropriate HR response, and appropriate BP response. Negative for chest pain, mildly positive for ischemic ECG changes, and negative for significant arrhythmia.
