m now 32+3 weeks and been so stressed because his dad promised to send some money for groceries for him ( he is on their food stamps and gets 674 dollars in disability) well no money has come and we have had to spend so much money on him and skipped two major bills this month to get extra groceries and make sure he had a good birthday. Well today my hubby text me and said his check was almost 300 dollars extra for money his job has owed him since last year!!!
Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique.
Greetings, here's my story in short:
I'm 22 years old, and was diagnosed with ulnar neuritis on my left elbow august '11, with pretty minor symptoms (pinky was statically numb for a 2-3 weeks). After it passed, I had 6 months of just an odd sensation of touch on my pinky and no numbness at all. However around mid February '12, my pinky and ring finger started having moments of numbness again (not 100% static).
I found out I am pregnant again and am 6wks 5days. I am terrified. Any tips on how to reduce anxiety and stress due to my last experience?
Non pregnancy related vent- my fiance missed a payment on my engagement ring!! Its not even half way paid for yet! Now we will be charged 30% interest on the remaining balance. No late payment forgiveness nothing. I told him, and told him, and told him 3 days straight before it was due and he still missed it! I've said let me handle paying it because hes had close calls before. Just give me the passwords etc,. But noooo!
My partner recently had surgery and about 10 days later he experienced tingling in his little finger and half of the ring finger or his right hand (surgery was a left side radical nephrectomy. At the time he was told there may have been some damage caused during the operation when he was moved or maybe his arm was lent on. This has now become excrutiating pain, mainly at night but becoming more so in the day as well now.
Hey our situation is solo much alike except I'm 19 and 20 weeks and also a ftm...what I do is find something I like doing like writing poems and stories and explain to my family and fiance I just want to be alone for a moment and that's what I do I am to myself and doing what I love stress is never good for you or the baby...
I feel your pain on not telling family members. I used to have a hard time telling my Dad because hes a Catholic, Id cook a huge steak dinner each time. But Id feel better afterward. Im also a total "daddys girl" lol so that may have helped. Anyway! Jumping off the soapbox, I agree that you should tell your family hun.
I went to dr today and found out I have a shingles in my arm.I thought it was a ring worm...he told me if I have a stress lately.O yeahh...bunch of them I said.Anyway he gave me the voltrex 500 mg and pain killer.Fms killing me and n ow shigles..

Gastro says my stress is in my intestines and i c can feel pain quicker than most. I can feel my entire intestinal trace moving and spasing. At times it would put my in the fetal position it was dibilitaeing. this is my idea of what happens.. after eating approx 20 mins i can feel it goe from my stomach into the intestine where something immediately goes wrong. spasms and gas buildup causes pressure on something causing my legs to go numb and painful alternating.
i had my depo shot january 14 my next shot was april but i didnt go i havent been on nothing since my last shot i had a cycle n june but i havent had one since i been a little stress its it because im stress or could i be pregant
im goin for a vbac and getting so so nervous to push baby's head out cuz I heard how bad it burns (ring of fire)..I'm gunna try goin without a epidural and ppl keep tellin me no no no!! Who's done this with out epidural? And how bad is it?

Xanax seems to give a little temporary relief, but not much. The anti-depressants seem tolerable for a few days and then the stress there seems to get worse. I've tried several different ones and the doctors tell me I have to stay on them for several weeks before I'll know if they help, but the stress seems to get worse and the longest I've been able to tolerate any of them is about 7 days.
