Avatar f tn m now 32+3 weeks and been so stressed because his dad promised to send some money for groceries for him ( he is on their food stamps and gets 674 dollars in disability) well no money has come and we have had to spend so much money on him and skipped two major bills this month to get extra groceries and make sure he had a good birthday. Avatar m tn Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique.
4268628 tn?1375041176 So I am 17 weeks now and feeling g physically ill due to stress. Any ideas for stress relief? Most of my go to activities aren't working. Between a creep video taping my daughter (who's 2) while at my in laws and my fil telling me I'm blowing things out of proportion, my husband reverting to whatever his dad says is law, and being the mean evil board member Sharing with 50 members their dues are increasing 3Xs what they're used to.....I'm sick and cramping.
Avatar f tn The appointment for NHS seem to take forever to come through (the online system used never had anything available) and because of my concern I decided to see a private gyno who also practises NHS. He confirmed my worse fears that id need an operation and that I'd loose my left ovary. He advised me to go back to GP for blood test and go back to NHS referral. So here I am 2 months down the line and still don't seem to have got any further.
Avatar f tn I'm approx 3 yrs post op & they' want to do surgery on the 2 discs above the rods. I'm awaiting new test results. According to my spine doc (diff one than did the original surgery, since i moved from cali to mass) the rods added "stress" to the 2 add'l discs that were merely bulging prior to removal of discs & fusion. I'm like you...equally frustrated & all of this feels never ending sometimes. Hang in there.
230948 tn?1235844329 Hi there Amazingly the snow isn't too bad at all considering I am way up north in Scotland. Private? I should be so lucky! I go through spells where I hate the NHS and all doctors but then I realise how lucky I am to get betaferon and not have to pay for it. I do feel we have a culture of not liking to question doctors, I am trying to change this but I don't find it easy.
Avatar f tn I become worried, on 14 day of my expected exposure I got the result of HIV which I were given in NHS, that was negative, I went back to NHS on 15th  days of my expected explosure and showed my Dr, my rashes she gave me anihestmine tablets for rash, and she toled me to come back for test after six weeks,I was so stress, I stop eating properly, and start thinking I am HIV positive now, all the time I had same thing in my mind.
Avatar f tn Hi PLEASE HELP I am a 24 year old female - in 2009 was very healthy, gym few times a week and very healthy diet then all of a sudden in Jan 2010 something in my body suddenly changed. For the past 6 months I have suffered from indegstion, acid reflux, pain in the right side of my tum, a very sore tongue which appears to get red spots / marks on it, a hoarse voice, a change in my voice pitch, tum bloating, food repeating, I could go on.....
Avatar f tn I found out I am pregnant again and am 6wks 5days. I am terrified. Any tips on how to reduce anxiety and stress due to my last experience?
Avatar n tn Hi I am from the UK but currently live in the US so know how both systems work. I would recommend seeing the specialist privately in the UK. It's usually not too expensive and you can be seen within days. For something like your eyes, this is a good investment believe me. In the US, you can see whoever you want......but believe me also when I tell you the bills are scary. Even with insurance! Don't hate on the NHS just yet.
422425 tn?1307992990 I tried a Chirpractor and it worked somewhat so far. I may have Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and not a cervical issue though.
Avatar m tn "I am trying to avoid the stress of testing if possible." There shouldn't be any "stress" about that. What's the stress when the result is virtually certaint to be negative? Yes, your chance is "genuinely zero" -- both because the contact was no risk and because syphilis is vanishingly rare in partners like yours. In the US, the large majority of cases are in gay men, and almost all the remainder in inner-city minority populations.
Avatar f tn Hey our situation is solo much alike except I'm 19 and 20 weeks and also a ftm...what I do is find something I like doing like writing poems and stories and explain to my family and fiance I just want to be alone for a moment and that's what I do I am to myself and doing what I love stress is never good for you or the baby...
Avatar m tn What it is was, i`m a 39 year old male I had my stress test and echo yesterday and i`m crapping myself about the results, the positives i`m taking from it are there was no increase in chest pain, i didnt collapse, there werent any ecg changes from the treadmill, pulse was nice and regular throughout and no contrast needed for the images from the echo, the negatives BP was sky high, was very tachy and was out of breath (i am after all unfit lol).
Avatar f tn I feel your pain on not telling family members. I used to have a hard time telling my Dad because hes a Catholic, Id cook a huge steak dinner each time. But Id feel better afterward. Im also a total "daddys girl" lol so that may have helped. Anyway! Jumping off the soapbox, I agree that you should tell your family hun.
Avatar f tn I would suggest seeing a cardiologist for proper blood work and possibly a stress test and echo. That way an MI can be definitely ruled IN or OUT of the equation. I WAS going to say "gallbladder" when I first read your post as your symptoms are pretty classic, but the ER ruled that out. Please don't let my response frighten you, but please don't ignore it either. There are other disorders that can cause similar symptoms.
1529159 tn?1295032800 i am so stress right now and all my body wanna do is sleep how can i break out of this cycle
Avatar m tn Last risk activity was now just over 4 weeks past, but did have a few risk encounters over a few months before that. However, i did get tested last week (probably around 24-25 days from my last risk encounter) on the NHS in the UK (elisa 3rd gen i believe over here) and it came back negative.
Avatar f tn That's a tough question to answer. I would say that the dentist should have quite a few techniques and different types of anesthetics that they could attempt to use to "numb" the area. But I can't specifically say what he/she has since I'm not there to observe. That's unfortunate you're not able to switch dentists. There's no process to find another dentist at all within the NHS system? I'm assuming the NHS system is based in Great Britain?
