m now 32+3 weeks and been so stressed because his dad promised to send some money for groceries for him ( he is on their food stamps and gets 674 dollars in disability) well no money has come and we have had to spend so much money on him and skipped two major bills this month to get extra groceries and make sure he had a good birthday. Well today my hubby text me and said his check was almost 300 dollars extra for money his job has owed him since last year!!!

Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique.

So I am 17 weeks now and feeling g physically ill due to stress. Any ideas for stress relief? Most of my go to activities aren't working. Between a creep video taping my daughter (who's 2) while at my in laws and my fil telling me I'm blowing things out of proportion, my husband reverting to whatever his dad says is law, and being the mean evil board member Sharing with 50 members their dues are increasing 3Xs what they're used to.....I'm sick and cramping.

My baby shower is slowly but surely going down the drain. First off, ever since everyone found out I was pregnant they began offering their hands here & there for the shower. That was back in May & now that the date is approaching, things are not going as planned. My aunt was offering a couple hundred for decorqtions & supplies, but now she's starting a divorce & needing to move so she can't help anymore. Fine, I worked out that little problem.

It was just SO much fun. Everyone enjoyed the games and food. I wouldn't have changed one thing. My friends are so selfless. I was overwhelmed with all these gifts. I didn't expect much from anyone but was gladly surprised. I feel so blessed. I only had 9 guests at this one and my room was filled with things, once I moved the gifts after everyone left. The games were so much fun too. It's such a relief to have one fun day with all my closest friends. I had an amazing day!

We just want 2 b prepared. But its just extra stress we dont need. From what u said its really just the car seat u should b looking into n thats it. Everything else will work out. Dont freak out tho! Unnecessary stress girl!!!

Let her stress abt the baby shower.

We will get our big brother to be some small gift from his sister. I am due june 25th and at the beginning of the month we plan on taking our son out for the day and making it all about him...

but because of that we cant have a christmas for our other children and i no stress isnt good for the baby but i dont no what to do...

Lol girl I could not handle having to buy all those gifts too much stress. That's why everyone gets cookies lol. Maybe if you tell your family the situation they will be understanding.

Hey our situation is solo much alike except I'm 19 and 20 weeks and also a ftm...what I do is find something I like doing like writing poems and stories and explain to my family and fiance I just want to be alone for a moment and that's what I do I am to myself and doing what I love stress is never good for you or the baby...

I feel your pain on not telling family members. I used to have a hard time telling my Dad because hes a Catholic, Id cook a huge steak dinner each time. But Id feel better afterward. Im also a total "daddys girl" lol so that may have helped. Anyway! Jumping off the soapbox, I agree that you should tell your family hun.

Well a baby shower is usually customary to be held during your last 10 weeks to give the expecting mother something to keep her mind off of the anxiety that comes with that final 1/4. After the shower and gifts that come with, you have more to busy yourself with with putting things away and arranging the things the way you want them for when baby comes. Keeping that in mind if you really want to have yours now, I say do it (: you could always have a push party after!

Some of the gifts where trashy but my mom broke the record she got me alot of gifts so really just enjoy the day and who's ever not there **** them .

This isn't really a question I just wanted to see how you would feel? I'm expecting a first child with my husband and my family and friends buy toys and cute outfits for my baby and constantly buying little cute gifts which I greatly appreciate and find it so sweet I'd do the same for their babies! My parents are even buying the crib and dresser and grandparents buying a stroller and car seat.
