Avatar m tn Im 16 weeks pregnant. My stress is at an all time now between work, school, family issues and trying to make sure my baby's okay. I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time. Mind you i've picked up on my bad habit of smoking cigarettes but not a whole cig or not that often but it makes me feel like crap so I need something else beside the just breathe technique.

Avatar m tn Hi. It may be best for you to have that check up sooner, so that you can get some reassurance from your doctor regarding your condition. Those symptoms may just be stress related, or it may be something significant. You won't know unless you have it examined. Unfortunately, you are right when you said that there is a possibility that the papilloma can come back as cancer.

Avatar f tn My son gave me a bear hug about 2 hours ago. He doesn't realize how strong he is & when he hugged me, I told him to stop because it was making my ribs hurt. Now I've noticed some pain in my rib area (back) at the lowest part of the rib cage. It hurts when I press on it (even lightly), when I twist, lean forward or reach for something. Is this something I need to worry about or just a simple bruising? Oh by the way I'm 51 yrs old.
Avatar f tn I feel your pain on not telling family members. I used to have a hard time telling my Dad because hes a Catholic, Id cook a huge steak dinner each time. But Id feel better afterward. Im also a total "daddys girl" lol so that may have helped. Anyway! Jumping off the soapbox, I agree that you should tell your family hun.

Avatar f tn Gastro says my stress is in my intestines and i c can feel pain quicker than most. I can feel my entire intestinal trace moving and spasing. At times it would put my in the fetal position it was dibilitaeing. this is my idea of what happens.. after eating approx 20 mins i can feel it goe from my stomach into the intestine where something immediately goes wrong. spasms and gas buildup causes pressure on something causing my legs to go numb and painful alternating.

146298 tn?1258712247 Hi everyone, I just had to share the good news. My disability hearing went so so well. My judge was very kind and patient. I didn't feel hassled or anything. Everyone was really supportive and the vocational advocate was so touch he was crying by the end of it. I'm so happy! I'll be able to get a house and assistance with day to day care so my boyfriend won't have to bear the weight of that role anymore.
Avatar n tn encouraging mindfulness in patients as to how stress impacts their bodies; and, giving patients tools (especially non-pharmaceutical ones) which they can learn to apply (with consistent practice and discipline) to either cause these stresses to be smaller, or to make larger their own capacity to tolerate the stresses. We live in a global society which makes it almost impossible to escape chronic stress-overload.
Avatar f tn In a number of tests, Relora has been shown to reduce excess cortisol levels associated with stress while improving mood and reducing stress. It acts via the brain’s GABA and serotonin systems, which are both important in controlling anxiety. NO caffeine!! It is important to understand that your diet should supply you with all the antioxidants and building material for antioxidant enzymes. If you're not getting those, then add some supplements.
Avatar m tn Xanax seems to give a little temporary relief, but not much. The anti-depressants seem tolerable for a few days and then the stress there seems to get worse. I've tried several different ones and the doctors tell me I have to stay on them for several weeks before I'll know if they help, but the stress seems to get worse and the longest I've been able to tolerate any of them is about 7 days.
11294269 tn?1422402907 First of all, you should figure out why is your head hurting. Is it because of dehydration, sore neck/back muscles, stress, food....? Tylenol is ok but it just gives a temporary relief. Know the cause and you'll get rid of the headache for longer.
Avatar f tn Had my first ultrasound today and my baby looks like a gummy bear according to my 4 year old son lol.
Avatar f tn I always have them, all women get them if they are on their period and if your pregnant you actually have one the entire time. If it gets large than it could potentially cause problems like rupturing which is extremely painful I know from experience.
