Also I had very rough last two months in terms of mental stress and additional alcohol. Would that have been a reason for the spike. I have now quit both smoking and drinking and hitting the gym along with diet control program. I read in a lot of BP blogs that the natural way of controlling BP is to reduce weight and alter the diet.

I just need some stress relief techniques i've tried walking, talking to friends but none of its working it just leads to me feeling depressed for some time.
