stress

Avatar f tn thanks for your reply. I'm not concerned about the dose reduction. My concern is taking the medication once a day versus divided doses twice a day.
Avatar f tn Hi there, You may not be aware but your question has landed in the MS community which is probably not the right community to answer this question... All i can tell you is Restasis is typically used to treat dry eye to increase tear production, and it also helps decrease ocular surface disease, lessen the severity of dry eye symptoms and significant reduction in ocular pain postoperative with Glaucoma but i'm unaware of Restasis being used to treat Glaucoma specifically.
184420 tn?1326739808 There's a bit of information mentioned in the AASLD guidelines. All I'm saying is people should not stress about a dose reduction if they're on triple therapy. It's in there under "Adverse Events". http://www.aasld.org/practiceguidelines/Documents/2011UpdateGenotype1HCVbyAASLD24641.
Avatar m tn No one will give to dose recommendations. I get instructions each week on my dose. When my WBC got very low I did dose reduce to 135 injection and even 90 for 2 weeks. Let me phrase it this way. A reduction won't hurt you. But a call to a doc on call (week end) would be a good idea.
Avatar f tn Post-test discussion for individuals who test HIV negative It is considered good practice to offer health promotion screening for sexually transmitted infections and advice around risk reduction or behaviour change including discussion relating to post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) to those individuals at higher risk of repeat exposure to HIV infection. This is best achieved by onward referral to GUM or HIV services or voluntary sector agencies.

Of note is that in the BOC trial, SVR rates in patients managed by RBV dose reduction alone were comparable to those in patients managed with erythropoietin therapy.23 Similarly, in the TVR trials, dose reduction of RBV had no effect on SVR rates, and therefore dose reduction should be the initial response to management of anemia.

2147300 tn?1369689688 First round of tx in 2003 doc prescribed procrit but this time they are talking about dosage reduction. Question.........pros and cons of each decision? Do you have enough info to comment? Thanks for all the support, been a good week, got my mind back.
Avatar n tn (which is available in pdf format) that outlines the protocol which can be found on the web site hcgdietinfo.com. This site will provide you with a ton of information for you to decide if this is an option for you. Once you feel fully informed about all the pro's and con's then, as I did, I went to my doctor and discussed this with him.
Avatar f tn The type of anemia you have is hemolytic anemia (drug induced) so food or supplements are not going to help, your doc seems to be following protocol by reducing riba after becoming UND, 9.7 is not to bad, ask your doc about a drug called procrit (erythropoietin) to help if the riba reduction doesn't work as well as needed ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Anemia developed among recipients of both PIs.
Avatar m tn Interim results will show that REP 9AC treatment rapidly leads to the detection of anti-HBsAg antibodies and the reduction and or clearance of serum HBsAg within the first 12 weeks of treatment in human patients. These findings are associated with substantial and sustained reductions in serum HBV titers which may be due to an improved immune response to the infection.
Avatar m tn Again, forgetfullness can increase during times of stress or anxiety. You may be having a cath 22 by worrrying about this. As for who to see, at your age I would see a neurologist. Good luck. Josh Attached is a copy of the mini-mental exam that you can use http://geriatrics.uthscsa.edu/tools/MMSE%20(english-spanish).
Avatar f tn It is also important that while the early and mid part of withdrawal should be managed with a 1 mg (for diazepam) or 5 mg (for chlordiazepoxide) reduction every 2 weeks, the reduction down to 5 mg (for diazepam) or 12.5 mg (for chlordiazepoxide) daily is a key milestone. From 5 mg down to 0 mg (for diazepam) or 12.5 mg to 0 mg (for chlordiazepoxide) a taper of 0.5 mg (for diazepam) or 1.25 mg (for chlordiazepoxide) reduction every three weeks makes this much more tolerable on the mind and body.
29837 tn?1414534648 In 1998 I did six months interferon w/ribavirin through dosage level study with Virgina Hepatitis Study Group, but then not clear. I do recall an early reduction of 6.5m to 600k. Later in 2002 started peginterferon w/ribavirin, but stop at week 12 due to not have two-log drop. Both times I had what I would state was noteworthy rash. However, got through it via powders, lotions, etc.....

Avatar f tn I had a myocardial profusion scan awhile back but did not complete the resting part due to very bad reaction to radioactive tracer. It said" there was a reduction in the tracer uptake within the septum proximally and also within the anterior wall in the region of mid ventricle.gated acquisition shows no thickening or motion abnormality.

Avatar m tn These tests look at completely different things, so yes. Its alot to break down but basically.. Stress tests look at electricity and wall motion. Ct angiograms look at blood flow. Contrast mri and nuclear medicine looks at perfusion (how well muscles soak up blood). So you can have a 48% reduction in blood flow, resulting in a 68% reduction in pumping action/wall motion and a 20% loss of perfusion all in 1, yes.
