The two are quite different, and if the stress of your job is more than you can handle and it's not a generalized irrational anxiety problem the only solution is to develop ways to lessen the stress or realize this might not be the right job for you. It's tough, I know, drugs are easier to turn to, but they're not magic pills and they don't alter the reality of your life.
Avatar n tn t know what to tell you, but I have to stress if you need to go to the hospital, than go. Most hospitals have a hardship program and if you go as an emergency, they have to treat you. I'm sorry I don't have more advice for you. I think this should be done by a Dr though.

I have heard that (according the wikipedia) a medication called Mirtazapine may be helpful for both anxiety and chronic headaches of numerous etiologies. What would you suggest were you in my position. I am currently taking Klonopin 0.5-1mg daily and up to 8 Vicodin (5mg/500mg) daily to squelch the constant pain.
Avatar f tn Stress can hurt the baby but it takes a lot to. Me and my boyfriend fight so bad all the time now bc I'm so hormonal! I get cramps afterwards sometimes but other then that everything is okay with the baby. Its normal to get crazy every now and then especially being pregnant now!
Avatar m tn What worries me the most that now in week 4 I have headache and strong sensitivity of my eyes to sunlight. On Wikipedia it says that these are among the very common sympthoms of acute infection. When I asked one of the doctors at my clinic she said that this is true and might be caused by the virus. As my clinic doesn’t support me at all on this maybe some expert is here who can reassure that these are strong signs for infection.

I have had out infections my whole life or so i thought! 2 yrs. ago i had another doctor for a few months while mine was on maternity leave after going in every 2 to 4 weeks with a uti she said "this is not normal and im going to start testing yr. urine."...all the further tests came back negative for bacteria but there is always blood and protein in my urine. So she said i have IC and there is no known cure....

I understand too that some (much?) of what's there is from voluntary contirbuitons. That said, I recommend you discuss with the prescribing doctor and let s/he know you've see such-and-such as a point-of-reference ... it may even be a good idea to print out the material and take it with you.

(I wouldn't suggest the latter because when he gets disgruntled he cuts off his patients meds COLD TURKEY, and he likes to give lots of unnecessary procedural shots (ie: epidurals. caudals etc.) Pain Management clinics are hard to get into if you don't have a referral and good records.
Avatar f tn I recently had a stress test and was told that the results were not clear. My cardiologist suggests a 64 slice coronary ct to rule out blockages. I had no pain or symptoms while on the treadmill. He said that it may be purely anatomical as women's breast tissue can complicate the reading of the pictures. Coincidentally, my left breast was radiated for 8 weeks due to intraductal carcinoma 19 years ago. Could this effect the pictures?
