Avatar f tn My therapist suggested to me that I begin journaling as a form of therapy, not only to get my thoughts out there, but to also be able to track my moods, and see if we can put our finger on what triggers my mood swings and anxiety. I have never journaled before, or kept a diary, but it is something I am considering. I guess I'm wondering if this has helped any of you out there. I am willing to try anything to help me get to the root cause of all of these mood swings, anger and anxiety!

Avatar f tn Maybe track what you eat. Sometimes high sugar or carb meals can do that. Also what is your caffeine intake? Sometimes that does it too. If none of those try a lavender bath, drink peppermint tea, or do some deep breaths for a few minutes. How are you handling stress? If there's a lot going on in your life, talk things out, do some journaling, get support! I also pray and spend some time reading my Bible.

Avatar m tn It is possible to continue to have a stress fracture over months when it is not given due attention and appropriate care. Conservative management of stress fracture should aim at movement restriction and non-weightbearing for atleast 6-8 weeks, while stressful activities should be resumed gradually after 12-16 weeks. The duration of rest would also depend on the severity of the fracture and the healing response. For severe or non-healing fractures, surgery may need to be considered.

Coincidentally, my left breast was radiated for 8 weeks due to intraductal carcinoma 19 years ago. Could this effect the pictures?
