Avatar f tn They take an oath to care for your health. Stress and anxiety can cause what the holter monitor showed. I would think that your anxiety may be negatively impacting you and ultimately, it will ultimately skew your total health negatively as well. So, it's really important to get a handle on the anxiety disorder. This will ultimately make the rest of your health better. Do you see a therapist or anything?
Avatar f tn There is no certification program for alcohol injection of a thyroid cyst. If you are referring to ECNU - this certification is reassuring (however is relatively new so many of my very experienced colleagues have not had time to certify). ECNU certification does not include PEI. As long as the doctor has experience with it and is doing frequent ultrasound guided FNA procedures, it should be fine.
5097121 tn?1466787392 When our bodies are feeling good, we usually feel good emotionally, so in turn, taking care of your body is very beneficial for stress management, for instance, getting a sufficient quantity AND quality of sleep, eating properly (including a healthy/balanced diet), staying active. Staying away from things like smoking, drinking, overindulging with food are a given. Minimizing intake of things like caffeine is a good idea. ---->Additionally, we have to set REALISTIC daily goals.
Avatar f tn I have severe spine disease that started in my 20s. While I may have emotional pain and sadness, my severe pain is a result of my diseased spine. Whatever "popping" sound you hear may or may not be related to your condition, but it needs to be explored. You need to see a specialist trained in the spine and pain management. They call this field 'interventional pain management". These are anesthesiologists with advanced training and board certification in pain management.
Avatar n tn I would honestly say go for it but only and only if you for a fact know the stress won't get to you because everything affects your baby and can something like that could even cause labor
Avatar f tn Stress can hurt the baby but it takes a lot to. Me and my boyfriend fight so bad all the time now bc I'm so hormonal! I get cramps afterwards sometimes but other then that everything is okay with the baby. Its normal to get crazy every now and then especially being pregnant now!

Avatar n tn Hi. I think the best thing to do in your wife's case is to get a certification from the pathologist who read the biopsy slides regarding the invasiveness and malignant potential of your wife's tumor. Such a certification is most probably acceptable to the insurance company. As an alternative, you can have the biopsy slides reviewed by a second pathologist who can issue the certification.
Avatar f tn I used to be a massage therapist with an dvanced certification in prenatal and yes they can be so great for your pregnant body!
Avatar f tn Hello Nicki, Welcome to the Pain Management Forum at MedHelp. I apologize for my tardy response. I assume you've had not responses because no on could offer assistance. I've done a search for Physicians that are qualified and registered with TIRF REMS. I too have turned up nothing. Sorry. I sincerely hope you have found one by now as I see it's been a week since you posted.

I would want to be sure that you have access to a professional who could recommend a wide range of safe and appropriate behavior management strategies. It will be important to address this issues now. She will be much more difficult to manage when she gets bigger and behavior problems will descrease her opportunities for learning.
Avatar f tn If the tests are negative, it's highly unlikely that you are pregnant. Are you trying to get pregnant? Stress can easily make you late and if you are trying your body can give you false symptoms.
572651 tn?1530999357 The authors speculate about why the benefits of the stress management treatment did not last beyond the 24-week treatment period. One possibility they point out is that participants may require longer treatment to learn to maintain the stress-reducing behaviors on their own.
Avatar m tn It is possible to continue to have a stress fracture over months when it is not given due attention and appropriate care. Conservative management of stress fracture should aim at movement restriction and non-weightbearing for atleast 6-8 weeks, while stressful activities should be resumed gradually after 12-16 weeks. The duration of rest would also depend on the severity of the fracture and the healing response. For severe or non-healing fractures, surgery may need to be considered.
Avatar f tn I'm clean a week today!! And I'm taking my first big certification test at two this afternoon so this should be interesting. I've never made it this far this well. Working and pushing myself to do stuff....though I have been half asleep through some of it....has really helped. Everyone please say a little prayer or whatever you do for me and my certification exam!!!
Avatar f tn I have a lot of stuff I need to do for work and major certification exams coming up - plus my husband might need major surgery. Needless to say I'm under a lot of stress and I have stuff to do!! I can't afford to be tired or in pain all the time!
Avatar f tn I recently had a stress test and was told that the results were not clear. My cardiologist suggests a 64 slice coronary ct to rule out blockages. I had no pain or symptoms while on the treadmill. He said that it may be purely anatomical as women's breast tissue can complicate the reading of the pictures. Coincidentally, my left breast was radiated for 8 weeks due to intraductal carcinoma 19 years ago. Could this effect the pictures?
