Avatar n tn You might also want to contact various lupus and cancer organizations. Sometimes they will help pay for expenses. My grandfather was given a little bit of help with his leukemia expenses from one of these organizations. When necessary, go to the ER. They can't turn you away and can't turn you over to collections if you are making payments each month. Even if they tell you that you have to pay $150 a month or something and you send $5, you are still paying on the account.

Avatar f tn Any organizations out there for pregnant women that might help me get food? Besides foodstamps? (we don't qualify, we make too much money) I'm tired of not having anything to eat! I just want food. My husband and I make enough money to pay rent, bills, and car payment. But never any money for food. Only when people give us money, do we ever have the chance to get anything. Last time we went shopping was when I got birthday money May 29th. It's so frustrating!

Have you tried applying for WIC or food stamps to help compensate? You can also find great stuff for you and your boy with local church organizations. Avatar f tn From what I've seen, most organizations will accept dyed hair, but not bleached hair. Your hair should also be in good shape, and not chemically damaged from the hair color. If you can find a salon in your area that cuts hair for Locks of Love, most will do it for free. You might make an appointment and let the stylist tell you if your hair is in good enough shape. Your donation is such a kind gesture! I'm sure your grandmother would so proud! Best wishes to you.
