I have had a painless, Red, "pin *****" rash that began on my abdominals and has spread thoroughout that area and onto my groin, under arms, back of knees, and under my breasts. As I understand rashes tend to go to the warm moist areas of the body. The rash tends to flare up after my showers. Initially we thought it was due to a change in dteregent, soap, or something else that may have irritated my skin but after a few days we began to think otherwise.
Does anyone know how the ARS rash looks like? I'd like to compare mine with pictures. Thank you in advance for any help. Needless to say, I'm extremely worried.
Fungal infection may present with a rash with a well defined border. The rash may be itchy and scaly. In a sweat rash, the rash may present with small vesicles and they may also itchy. They are usually associated with excessive sweating. Do you have any of these conditions?
I suggest ,that you have this assessed by a dermatologist. You may need an antihistamine for the itch. Microscopic evaluation of skin scrapings of the area may help define a fungal infection.

With a prior history of an upper respiratory tract infection such as a strep throat, I suggest that you have this rash closely monitored. Have you taken any antibiotics for your strep throat ? Were you able to complete the course of your medications?
Although rare, strep throat may cause scarlet fever as a complication.The rash of scarlet fever is usually associated with headache and a fever .The rash has a rough feel to it and may be reddish over the arms and legs.

I know these rashes typically occur on the trunk and face but I read that it can occur near the genitals. If this rash were to itch I could say that it's jock itch since it looks like one but it doesn't. I have no idea how long I've had it for since I might have not noticed it before.
So lastly, can symptoms for ARS occur one after another?

Due to the suddenness of appearance of rash along with no prior history of any rash,it can be due to a viral infection or an allergic reaction.Scarlet fever(strep infection with a rash) and other viral infections and allergic reaction due to contact dermatitis have to be ruled out.Apply calamine lotion on the rash and consult a pediatrician soon.Treatment for all is different and before prescribing any medicine in children ,it is important to confirm a diagnosis first.

Well, has she had a strep test? The rash could be scarlet fever from the strep infection. I had a strep infection without a sore throat, but with scarlet fever, and every joint in my body was involved. I could barely walk. I had no idea strep could cause these symptoms. You can also have a negative rapid strep test. What you really need is a culture and a blood draw to make sure. I got the run around for quite a while.
Fever and white blood cell count indicates infection. The rash presenting on the calves makes me think it's erythema nodosum...this will resolve on its own in 3 - 6 weeks, usually. Since strep throat can cause erythema nodosum, I'd bet that you had strep throat (did you have a strep test done?). Mononucleosis can also cause this, but since you didn't mention extreme fatigue, I wouldn't include this in the differential diagnosis.
Which I guess makes sense, except again for the rash that came after my symptoms of everything was clear. If it was a rash from strep then it would of came with the strep symptoms of shortly after.
I looked into the second medicine I was given called Levaquin and saw that it can cause rashes, but usually they happen within the first 48 hours of taking the medication and my rash happened after taking it for 5 days so none of it really adds up.

Anyway, fast forward about 5 days later and I develop a red burning rash on the left side of my inner labia. No, I don't use herpes pictures for reference, as everyone's symptoms are a little different. If you want to see pictures, google it, but remember that the pictures you will see are the worse case scenarios. I've had herpes for 3 years, and haven't ever had symptoms like they show in the pictures.

It definitely sounds like an allergic reaction because of the small bumps. If it were a sinus infection there would be pain and fever associated with the swelling. Im not sure what this is but its bothering me a lot.. i also use face cream that has benzoyl peroxide in it but its not just pure benzoyl peroxide.. my friend got bleach into her blood stream because of a doctor recommending just pure benzoyl peroxide..
One day it could slightly to the left, next day could be slightly on the right. I took pictures and saw one or two 3-5mm diameter lump/pus grow on the back of my throat. I immediately went to my primary doctor, who did not take it seriously and said it might be allergy and only saw some redness in my throat and it would clear up on its own. After It persisted for over a week, I went to ENT who did a throat culture. Today I got a call from ENT doctor saying that I have strep throat.
