I worked in the NICU and was responsible for mixing breast milk with additives for babies that needed it. You can keep fresh breast milk in your fridge for up to 4 days. If it is not used in that amount of time you freeze it. Use the fresh before you use frozen! It is a good idea to use stickers to know which milk to use first.

you can store it in the fridge for 2-3 days just make sure you date the milk also it can go in the freezer i think for upto 6 months and it is good to use the breast milk storage bags so you can date them also and then you can take them straight from the freezer and put the bag in the baby bottle warmer. when you buy the breast pump there should be a little book about breast feeding and everything that comes with it.

I breastfed but wasn't able to pump, my daughter feed to often and I never had enough to then pump after, but I was always told by my docs that breast milk can be stored in the fridge for up to 5 days (at the back of the fridge, don't keep it in the door) and up to 6 months in the freezer. Always try and defrost breast milk by putting it into the fridge to defrost, not just leaving it on the side.
