4193337 tn?1355698372 This time the spd is back and I have arthritis so am in a lot of pain and am petrified of the birth. Pregnancy is the scariest thing in the world but the majority of the time it all turns out well. Here's to healthy babies for us all and hoping they give us an easier time when they finally arrive. It's all worth it in the end.
Avatar f tn I wish people stop complaining about what questions other people post... Either read it or don't! answer it or don't! I know this may seem hypocritical cuz i am doing the same thing right more but whatever! Don't read mine either!
624074 tn?1263873807 Chiari is complicated enough to understand, but I wanted to know if anyone knew where I could find information explaning what Chiari Malformation, in particular CM 1 in Spanish is. We are visiting my in-laws this week-end and instead of losing everything in translation, I was hoping to find a pamphlet online or something that was already in Spanish. Anyone have any ideas on where I may be able to find something? Thanks so much!

Avatar n tn I've been dilated at a 6 since last Monday and baby is at station +1. Docs said they thought I would be back within 2 days to deliver because she is so low, and because I'm dilated so far. I wish she would come already! I had to stop working because they thought I wouldn't make it to the hospital in time to deliver...but LO is staying put. I'm burning up all my sick time and I feel just fine...it sounds crazy, but I wish I could go back to work until she arrives...

Avatar f tn Does anyone have any suggestions on baby boy names that sound nice in both spanish & english?
Avatar f tn So, feel confident as you expose him to both languages. If you are stronger in Spanish, then you should probably speak primarily in Spanish to him. He will learn English in school and from friends. I absolutely would work on getting him to feed himself. The best way to do it is to stop doing it for him. Give him foods that are easy to self-feed to start. You can go out and buy a special utensil set (they have ones with characters) to encourage him to get started.

541196 tn?1293552936 t feel a great connection with my first endocrinologist and I found another one in the area that is very friendly and thorough. She ordered lots of blood work and a thyroid sonogram. The blood work came back indicating I needed to have a MRI of pituitary gland with and without contrast, but she wanted me to check with insurance on it first. My insurance only covers it if the $2000 deductible has been met first!!!!

Avatar f tn So, you talk to yourself. Me too. I never thought it was a big deal though, try not to psych yourself out over it. That can make it worse. I just laugh at myself and my family laughs along with me. Like I mentioned in the other thread you posted on, we know it's intense when I start talking in Spanish, which is not my native language. It's kind of odd, because in mania, my spanish is more fluent than when I am talking to people in my travels.

Avatar f tn This is my first baby and EVERYTHING that can happen has! I was diagnosed with Hypermesis (HG) at 7 weeks so I could not keep down foods and liquids for 11 weeks; plus I was on bed rest 2 months; several hospitalizations, a home care nurse and an IV for 8 weeks! I am on meds and a 24 hour Zofran pump still to stop the vomiting and nausea. I've been diagnosed with chronic salviation so I spit all day (between 30-40 ounces daily). I started leaking from my left breast at 10 weeks.
Avatar m tn I just called the accredited clinic of the Spanish consulate here in Manila where the medical examination is done for getting working visa in Spain. They told me that they dont issue 'fit to travel' certificate with conditions reactive in hepa b either inactive or active state. They require waiver from the company so that you'll get the 'fit to travel' certificate from the clinic. Sad because i have to decline the opportunity working in Spain for just months.

Avatar n tn Do you have his results? How was he tested? Do his results give separate results for hsv1 and hsv2? It should look something like, "HSV1 IgG 9.6 HSV2 IgG 14.3" His numbers will be different, obviously, but if doesn't have a separate number for both, he's had a combination test, and it means he is positive for hsv1, OR hsv2, OR both, and he doesn't yet know. One of the world's leading experts, Terri Warren, wrote the Herpes Handbook, and it's in Spanish.
