stomach virus going around 2009

Is the stomach flu going around in south eastern united states? I woke up feelin extremely naseous.

It could still be a stomach virus, however, it could be a bacteria or even parasite. I recenlty had a stomach virus that lasted about 7-8 days. Have you ever been tested for or diagnosed with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome)? Your headaches could very well be a sign of dehydration - with all the diarrhea, you can get dehydrated pretty quickly. Be sure and stay well hydrated - water, ginger ale, sports type drinks are all good.

( Woke up with a sick little one today and then after lunch started getting any upset stomach headache back ache and having to have frequent regular bowel movements. I hate stomach viruses:( On top of that got the flu shot yesterday so I am achy from that too and I haven't ate but once today bc food sounds horrid. Anyone else going through this while pregnant?

During the last day of the sore throat, I started having severe burning sensation like a localized high fever running down from my throat (2 days) to my armpits (3 days) then to my left stomach area (my guess is my spleen, for 3 days) and then down to my crotch (2 days), it was hell for more than 1 week, 1 sweat so much that my bed was drenched. I felt very weak and could not do anything but stay in bed the whole time. I also lost my appetite.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I believe I've caught the stomach virus. Should I go to the doctor or just let it past? Will my baby be affected in any way?

ve cleaned everything in the house so I was wondering if it was a stomach virus should I be safe from catching it again by now?

I'm 32 weeks and this awful stomach virus is running ramped around my office. I'm scared to death of catching it as I sit here armed with a bottle of Lysol IC. Any suggestions short of going home? Can't miss work when I'm soooo close to the end plus all my time has been put towards maternity.

There bad strain of the stomach bug going around. My son had it for over a week. Make sure you drink lots of fluids so you don't get dehydrated.

i have just had the worst stomach virus i have ever experienced. for 16 hours i was constantly being sick every thirty minutes. dr's were about to admit me to hospital when i stopped being sick. i;m 9 weeks pregnant, does anyone know if this will affect my baby.

so afta i hadnt gotten my period afterwards( 6 months to be exact) so i went to tha doctor and she gave me BC to take so it could come back and it did and i stayed on my period for 2 weeks( i accidently missed a day of taking the pill) and i believe my last day of my period i had unprotected sex w/ my boyfriend (Oct 2009) ( i was still on bc) and tha next day my stomach started hurting and i was getting headaches....my boobs dont hurt and i eat alot anyways so i cant really tell in that....

So I went home feeling ok then next day I got my blood taken and right after I felt really weak and my stomach pain came back but this time it felt like gas in my stomach was always going in to my heart. it was hard to sleep and it made my heart feel weak but by the next day that went away but the stomach pain didn't so that was this past Wednesday.
