Stomach virus and passing out

Common Questions and Answers about Stomach virus and passing out

stomach

About 6 hours ago, it started to feel like I still have to go but sometimes very little or nothing is coming out and has become very uncomfortable and also not allowing me to sleep. It feels like constipation because I keep running to the bathroom thinking I have to go and nothing is coming out. I also was able to eat more solid food today and wondering if this might have had some effect on me.
Everytime I get nauseated I will start tingling and know im going to pass out. I know whats going on but I cant move. I have done this for years. I can't stand to get the stomach virus because I do this. If I take any medicines that will make me sick at my stomach, it will do this. What can I do or take that I can knock this before I pass out?
I did receive treatment for the possible bacterial infections STD given z pack, doxy, ofoflax, uribel and something for trich. My neuro said it's probably a unknown virus. I have been on a few rounds of antivirals for herpes just to see if there is a reaction, the antivirals seem to help the symptoms but herpes test was neg. I am thinking this maybe undetected herpes infection accompany with a fungal overgrowth due to excess antibiotics.
He may have a stomach virus that seems to be going round, once he stops vomiting make sure hes getting water to keep him hydrated, the gas may be the preliminary to having diarreha, limit his food, it should take its course but if he seems worse or has a high fever take him to the Doctor to get checked out.
Parasites/tapeworm ruled out (normal ultrasound and no signs of seizures), bacteria infection ruled out (antibiotics finished course), stomach virus ruled out (only breads seem to trigger pain). Physical injuries ruled out by exams from 3 different ER doctors. Need suggestions on other possible diseases/causes for severe pain reaction to breads/pasta with no prior history?
I've been having those symptoms, and my doctor has told me it was an ulcer. It can cause your stomach to burn.Does your stomach burn after you eat?Or is the burning relieved by eating?Do you feel nauseated at times? You should go to the doctor(preferably a gastroenterologist)and have them check you out.
I want to help them both but it's obvious that extreme precautions can't even keep you from getting this virus. My mom is borderline OCD and was lysal'ing EVERYTHING and passing out hand sanitizer like tic tacs. YET, she woke this morning with it. A chiropractor told me that you can't catch catch the same virus twice...I find that hard to believe and just wanted to get a few more opinions on the matter before I risk catching it again. Can it be airborne?
After reading the posts on this site I tend to feel a little more at ease. Then I go and read some other web sites and begin freaking out all over again. I will be seeing my reg family doctor this afternoon, not sure if I want to brg up the exposure risk to him, I am in a fairly small town. As far as testing, can you buy a test that gives you immediate results at a local pharmacy? Can a local facility, hospital, clinic etc give you a test with same day results?
he contained the virus, wouldn't he keep giving it to me over and over. I have my yearly PAP since I had the HPV all normal. Every 3 before that. Last year my PAP was normal, would it take a year to grow too? I get my results the 30th or after the new year.
I got the similiar stuff I have been suffering for almost a year with bloating, weakness, like something did something to my chest and intestins it always in pain and I feel like I am surviving every night, practicaly passing out from pain on my bed, school ***** and I barely have energy to work.
Hi, I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I'm feeling better today, thank god! I hope you find out whatever if making him feel like that. I think my bowel troubles and flu like symtoms were just that, flu or stomach virus. My "episode" symptoms and things have been going on over a period of a year maybe. It was thought it was acid reflaux at first then when Prolosec wasn't helping and it kept coming on, I got tested for the ulcer and gallbladder.
Two weeks ago when I had my first doctor visit, I went because I had felt nauseous for 2 weeks. That turned out to be a passing virus, one of my co-workers had it before me. I told the doctor I had been feeling shooting pains in my hip areas but they weren't constant - I felt those pains last night for less than a minute. He didn't really explain those or say what they were caused by. I had a pap smear that day but haven't heard anything about it since then.
I have had the same problem for about a month now, when I was younger (about ten or eleven) I had the 'eggy burps' usually after I had been particularly sick with one of the strains of flu (particularly stomach flu) just recently it got worse, it was non-stop hell for a day and a half, and now that I have just recently started eating properly again, I've noticed that there is always one connection to this problem (for me anyway, it could be different for everyone) if I eat any type of cheese, I
Sonogram negative and one back X-ray negative. I don't know what to do. Could it be a stomach virus that causes the burning, feels like he has to pee all the time ? Should I push for a ct scan of stomach ? Please steer me in right direction. Thank you!
All related. Stomach is just about 100% normal and happened literally OVERNIGHT. Only a virus would act that way after hurting me for 8 weeks. I am sitting here drinking coffee and wondering if the stress of working so hard and an emotional upset, even though I am not outwardly upset, brought this virus out in me. Yesterday a friend brought some food to the door. I could feel myself getting better as we spoke. I ask you again, miracle from God, or spontaneous withdrawal of the HSV virus?
For the past few months, if I go out first thing in the morning with an empty stomach and run 5.5 miles up and down a fairly steep slope, then swim for half an hour, my stomach will churn for hours afterward. If I drink a quart of water beforehand and 20 ounces of water toward the end of the run, I am usually OK. What bothers me is that I have been doing my exercise routine for more than 5 years without this ever happening before.
I think everything is over and I clean up. I walk out of the toilet and in about 2 minutes time the stomach cramp and the fainting sensation comes back (I've fainted only once to date from this and was out for about 15-20 minutes). 6. When I get back to the toilet I have a really violent Diarrhoea episode in pure liquid state.
after the trip to the doctor I was put back on the same perscriptioin for CLONAZAEPAM everything was fine for about a month after then I was hit with the out of body feeling that most people get with panic attacks and can't get rid of it it feels like im in some one else body its driveing me nuts when ever I try to focus my eyes on something they bugg out and it goes blurry also had a catscan since all this and nothing came up turns out most of the breathing issue is I may be alergic to GRAV
I found out when my frined was diagnosed, I realized I was high risk. I REQUESTED that my doc test me and it came back positive. They do NOT test for hep C as a matter of course, but they should. Learn as much as you can and when you see a specialist, have questions prepared. Meanwhile, try not to panic - if you feel fine I do not think your liver is failing.
Hi May_be, I went 8 weeks without my period and blood and urine kept coming out negative, and the day before missing my second period, I started spotting and later on that day, it started flowing like a river. So, just give it a bit more time and if it still doesn't start that second month, go get tested again. Sometimes your body tend to skip a month, for different reasons. I just knew I was pregnant, but it crept up on me soon as I was getting ready to miss the second month.
First it is entirely possible to get afib via gas bloat and other stomach and digestive tract disorders. If your stomach and digestive tract is as described then you must have inflamation. All this inflamation and bloat and gas will push up on your diaphram and surrounding areas and cause great discomfort and pain but also can press upon nerves.

I'm slightly better today, at least I'm walking around a little without having visions of myself passing out and lieing here till someone finds me. lol (Hubby's out of town till Sat pm) Sometimes I can be such a drama queen. But, what can I say....you get all out of breath walking one flight of stairs, I'll lay around wanting a drink of water for 10 minutes till I finally make myself reach over and get it. That is pathetic. But it sounds like the same stuff everyone else is dealing with.
NAUSEA may be from what is happening in your stomach, and from irregular eating, and maybe from DEHYDRATION (?!!). Suggestion: 1. BREATH TEST to confirm/exclude H.pylori infection of stomach. If confirmed, 7 days (I think) of ANTIBIOTIC treatment follows (it is often successfull). 2. GASTROSCOPY will be needed to check for changes in your stomach and lower esophagus. 3. I think you should start with these upper GI investigations, and only then, if needed, go with colonoscopy.
We have gone to marriage conselor and really don't have any issues to discuss with him, only the affair business and he have been over that many times. My problem is that I can't get the picture of them two out of my head. I'm alone throughtout the day and that seems to be the worst time. My kids don't know what happened and I don't want them too. Should I seek medication? I don't like the way they make you feel.
I found out that I have Migraine and Vertigo. I rarely have headaches, mainly dizziness and foggy feeling. I ended up going to a doctor that my ENT sent me to. It was a clinic for hearing & balance. They did an "audio VNG". It is about a 2 hour long series of tests that can narrow down the reasons for the dizziness. It will check for inner ear problems, etc. The tests are pretty intense and make you dizzy on purpose while they put goggles on your eyes that have cameras inside.

My husband and i then went for a scan and this is when we found out that actually all was not well. It was clear to us straight away before anyone said anything that something didn't look quite right on the screen. There was a huge amount of fluid around the head and stomach. We were told straight away that this pregnancy was highly unlikely to go full term or even another week and that our baby was very sick.
