I told him that was not my problem and he ordered an ultrasound after I pressed him. He said the ultrasound was unremarkable. He thought I had an ulcer and gave me a prescription for that. After many months, the problem was getting worse and I went back to the doctor. Four doctors and five different prescriptions later, the problem was still not resolved. I went for another ultrasound which said there is an 8.1 x 5.4 x 7.
There is prominence to the cricopharygneus muscle. No evidence of esophageal stricture or mass is seen. The patient swallowed a pill. There is retention of pill secondary to esophageal spasm at multiple levels with slow passage of the pill into the stomach in the upright position.
No evidence of hiatal hernia is seen. No spontaneous or elicited gastroesophageal reflux is demonstrated. The stomach is unremarkable in size and configuration.
I don't quite know how i came across this, i guess i was rubbing my neck and playing about with it (whilst i wait for a GP appointment) anyway, just underneath my adams apple i pulled the skin and felt what seems to be 2 - 3 inch long mass of tissue ( i don't think its a muscle ) now i heard GERD can cause cancer.. possible?

I have a mass in my stomach - perhaps more than one - that has been getting larger over time. I first noticed it a few months ago, and now it's become problematic as I can feel something foreign moving around inside of me quite noticeably. First it was just like a raised muscle around my belly button on one side or the other that tended to pulse strongly with my heartbeat. Now I can feel several hard substances in various parts of my abdomen.

Your stomach has acid pumps that spew acid whenever food or liquid is added in your stomach. I do not know how many acid pumps there are in a human's stomach, but enough to attack whatever is added to your stomach for digestion purposes.
After a transvaginal ultra sound I was diagnosed with 4 cyst on right ovary and complex mass on left ovary that has solid components and fluid, I had a hysterctomy 2 years ago. Took everything but ovaries. I had my gallbladder removed in March of this year. I dont only hurt in my pelvic area but also in my upper stomach. I feel like I have a gall bladder again. The pain around my rifght rib cage is unbearable. My ca-125 was 6 so I thought that was pretty good!
He did a crack shoot diagnosis and guessed stomach ulcer. They did X-rays, an upper GI series and took about 6 vials of blood to test for everything he could.
About 1 week into treatment. I started feeling better. No more vomiting, my stomach stopped hurting. I can now eat solids and some spicy foods. I feel better, psychologically, not physically though. At 1 week into treatment, I noticed my ankles were numb, not the actually limb though; More so the skin around it.
She called me on yesterday and told me that the test revealed a 4 cm non-specific mass behind my pancreas and in front of the aorta. I have not had any nausea, dizziness, constipation, etc. I have low Vitamin D and was dx with Epstein Barr virus. I also have an increased ESR. Please let me know what you think this could be.
During the treatment, I began have mild queasiness and aching in my epigastric area (many areas)
I developed an angry vaginal yeast infection. I treated that, and began probiotics right away. By then my stomach was very painful and churning burning ALL the time.
The foods I was eating regularly started making me feel like vomiting. Like potatoes, then beef, then chicken, cauliflower etc etc It' s as though I was/am still getting allergic to all these foods.
Ideas on what this mass could be? The general surgeon that did my EGD would like to take it out, but doesn't know what it is and has never seen something like it. A 6 month follow up EGD showed it to be essentially identical.
