Ok so i was at my bro in laws pool sat. I put spf 30 on my tummy but it was last years sunblock and it was banana boat. I put spf 8 Hawaiian tropic on my legs, arms, n chest. Sun morning i had a lil rash on my stomach but no where else. So do u think it's the sunblock? Ormaybe the sun? I still have it but not as pink or bumpy as it was.

Im breaking out in hives on my stomach. I havent come in contact with anything new or switched laundry soap or anything. I took an antihistimine. Has this happend to anyone else? What helped you?

No, honey, being itchy all the time is NOT normal in pregnancy, at all. Itching *without* a rash, especially in the third trimester, should raise red flags for your doctor--but if he or she is like most OBs, then he/she hears about it from patients sometimes but has no explanation and so just reassures you. Have you noticed certain times of day when the itching is worse? Certain activities that seem to exacerbate it? Where do you itch the most?

Thank you all. I spoke with my doctor and it perfectly normal to have the itching and rash. It's called Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP). Although the creams wasn't working, she prescribe an oral medication for me. I started itching around 32 weeks for the first time and I am still itching at 34 weeks. The oral medication did stop me from itching on my stomach but now I am itching even more on my feet, arms, legs, and tighs.

I have a rash on my stomach, it started on my arms just below on wrist. now has logalized on my stomach it gets better for a afternoon and then is back it itches really bad. i have put all kinds of cream with no help. i have gone to a dr who gave me steoids which helped only as long as i was on it. then it came back. this has been going on for three months please help.

What should I use for my stomach? It itches all the time? I use baby oil gel to keep it moisturize but it itchy.

Hi! I am 21 weeks pregnant. I have a rash on just my right arm and when I went to the doctor she just told me it was a normal pregnancy rash. What is a "normal pregnancy rash"? Has anyone else had one? P.S. I found out last week I'm having a boy! Yay!

Im 13 weeks. First pregnancy. So I woke up with a rash that comes and goes mostly all over my arms. But I have had it on my face and feet and legs as well. As soon as I woke up with it I went to my doctors office after speaking to a nurse who told me to come in asap. Unfortunately MY doctor wasn't in and I got stuck with a doctor I have never had. I developed a stomach rash in February of 2007 shortly after a viral infection. It consists of tiny red bumps that appear from my chest down to my waistline. At times the rash somewhat clears except for maybe 20-30 bumps. At other times I have 100 or more. They do itch, especially after bathing or swimming. If I scrub them off in the shower then they ooze and get quite sore. It is now July of 2008 and I have continuously had this rash.

Hi i am 24 yrs old female. and in my last pregnancy in 2008, while i was pregnant in my upper stomach i got this spots they just appear out of nowhere they look just light brown if i scratch them, they turn white like if is dry skin but then, they become a little red and slight itchy. i first i though it was because of the stretching of the stomach and i was pregnat.

I've developed a light, bumpy rash all over my stomach. It hasn't gone away or stopped itching since yesterday. I haven't called my doctor yet because I tend to her hives, but this is different. I had bumps all over that I thought were bug bites and turned out it was pupps I had to get a cream for it thru the doctor

With my first two pregnancies they told me it was pupps a pregnancy rash.. Well I've moved since then an my new Dr who works for the mayo health system said it wasnt pupps but a different type of pregnancy rash.. Its almost like hives.. The Dr has had me on steroids an then benadryl every 4 hours..

Has anyone had anything like hives during pregnancy? A few weeks ago (maybe even months at this point), I had one rash thing on my abdomen, but not near any stretch marks or my bra line. Allergies can become more aggressive when you're pregnant bc your body is trying to keep foriegn particles at bay even more so then when you're not pregnant. Although this is not a sign of pregnancy. Also a lot of woman develop pregnancy rash..there are many different kinds so if you are pregnant & have a rash you need to have it looked at asap! & these rashes have nothing to do with stretch marks. I had a developed an itchy rash on the back of my hands, on my wrists, stomach, and legs. The physician at the Urgent Care center gave me an steriod shot and prescribed predinisone 10mg. He questioned me about my last period, but he never conducted an urine sample to do a pregnancy test. After taking the meds for a week, I found out that I'm 5 weeks pregnant. You could have an ectopic pregnancy. Have you had your first ultrasound? And the rash seems normal. I know pregnancy can cause them from hormonal reasons and all the stretching of your skin.

I am in my 3rd week of treatment and not doing too bad. I do have a never ending stomach ache and feel tired..I don't feel like doing much. Do side effects normally come in the beginning or later in treatment?
