Does anyone else feel sharp pains when they sneeze or cough in the lower stomach area? I just sneezed and a sharp pain went thru what I would say is my ovaries area on both sides. Has anyone else ever felt that??
early in the morning when i wake up my organs around my stomach hurt. then when i get up and begin my day the pain goes away.
It's usually felt on one side of the stomach area or lower chest. Deep breathing and coughing often make it worse. You may also have a fever, pain when moving, or fast, shallow breathing. Typically, you will be able to point to the exact location of the pain. In some people, the pain spreads to the neck, shoulder, or abdomen. Care While your doctor looks for the cause, you will get medicine to ease the pain. This will help you breathe more easily too.
I also have had a very tight chest and had severe pains just when fast walking. I wake in the early hours of the morning unable to breath and am totally fed up. I am back at the doctors today to see if they can put me out of my misery. Will post if any new ideas.
nevertheless the change in whether can make it flare up too with MUSCLE SPASMS and PAINS THREW OUT MY WHOLE BODY. Stupid headaches are back as is scalp feels very sun burnt to brush(but is not), hair is thinning out, lymph nodes swollen, stomach bloated, ovaries hurt, lightheaded often, edema, vision blurry, throat feels tight to swallow, jaw sore (probably just TMJ) and BP and HR is up (more often than regular or low)...
hey i'm a 20 year old female that smokes and i hv a chest pain when i laugh alot.. recently had flu symtoms like coughing and sore muscules but the problem is my voice is gone and i still cough and have massive pain when i laugh Is it still flu?
I am 37 weeks pregnant, I have been to the hospital 3 times in the past month with strong stomach pains that lasts from 1-3 hours long! They are not contractions, its a constant pain, my back HURTS at the same time. The e.r. does not see anything wrong and they keep sending me home. Has anyone else experienced this? What could it be?
It began in 1976 and re occurs every 5 to 6 years. I get a sore throat (not tonsils but when you swallow) I now go straight on antibiotics and use Bricanyl inhaler although it doesnt seem to have much effect except to cause alot of mucus coughed up from the lungs. It causes me to have spasm coughing and if I cannot control this to 3 or 4 coughs my windpipe closes over making it hard to breath in or out.
i knew of someone aged 20 who had pains too then woke up coughing one night - lung cancer. She had been diagnosed with pneumonia a few months earlier & been told that it's just irriation. The moral of the story is, don't let the doctors play the guessing games with your life. Yes, go to a rheumatologist - but go to a respiratory specialist too. i've been referred to rheumatologist now & she diagnosed fybromyalgia.
for a colonoscopy (due to prior polyps 18 yrs ago+) and a endoscopy because of this cough that at first I just thought was from smoking. I get muscle pains threw out my whole body this time of year when the temperature starts to drop and I'm usually cold to the bone and therefor I have to use tissues often cause my nose is runny. My feet and hands are also cold; but, sweaty. The back of my throat looks a little red and my uvula is longer than it usually is.
Heart aside, my thinking also runs to either muscular or something to do with the lungs, maybe reflux related -- although I never remembered these pains when my relfux was worse than now. I've also worked out a lot over the years and don't remember anything quite like this, still it's a possiblity. Another thought is it has something to do with interferon withdrawal although I'm not positive they didn't start before I stopped treating -- really wish I kept a detailed journal.

For the past 3 weeks, i keep getting these stomach pains and it's bad. After i eat is worse and when i don't eat. Sometimes, there's pressure in my chest (near my heart) and it's all gas. I'm afraid it's something serious, that's why i'm trying to find out what these symptoms are (before the doctor tells me).
I was wondering what can cause pain , especialy on the right side, of the abdominal area. It increases when coughing, sneezing, or sudden movement. I went to the doctor and he said it was not appendicitis and scheduled me for an ultrasound but it has been rescheduled. This pain has a frequent recurrence every couple of months. I know I had a cyst on my ovary when I was pregnant 3 years ago but am not sure if this could cause the pain.
I have been coughing up some sort of liquid for a few months now and only recently have I felt a pressure in my chest. It is increasingly difficult to breath and I don't know why...the burning sensation possibly is from heart burn as I tend to get it after eating...so I suspect it's heart burn. But does heart burn also give you a pressure in your chest? I'm really really confused and scared it could be something serious.
lol Gee doc I'm vomiting mucus and not sick, coughing, yet don't have a cold. No fever, sore everywhere, stomach feels bloated and ovaries sore, BP and sugar rates are fluctuating, yet I don't feel sick, body is swollen, vision is blurred at times, IBS is acting up, muscle spasms, headaches and just really blah... LOL It would be easier to say I need an appt because I'm all messed up for no reason, yet I'm not sick. Can you help me? hee hee.
i also take supplements such as gingko, saw palmetto, coq10, pycnogenol, and grapeseed extract. for the past 2 months i have experienced continued severe hunger pains that are not satisfied by food intake. they continue 24 hours aday and become so severe at times that i gag and cough. in addition, the diuretic, which i take each morning, continues to work throughout the nightime hours.i for some reason tie the beginning of the severe hunger pains to the time my diuretic was increased.
Where it involves pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen mask over my face. I also been coughing, but not continuously. In order to cough, I have to hold my chest and cough. So I know it's not asthma. All, I know is I'm 20 going on 21 in July and my family Doctor acts like she does'nt know whats going on. She thinks it might be anxiety, but I was'nt anxious or upset yesterday at all, until the attack happened. All, I want it Is my life back.
The breathing problems can actually be attributed to the burping. When i first started getting sick my stomach over produced acid, and i was burping and while i never tasted nor even elt it there it was causing my throat to close and my chest to tighten. My doctor put me on SOMAC which is designed to help in people who have ulcers and it reduced the amount of burping i did. I took it for 10 days and it helped significantly.
First generation antihistamines (benadryl and chlorphentamine) are the only ones that have an effect on me (which is in the Tussionex, which is sometimes the only way I can sleep when the coughing is really intense.) Smaller meals, digestive enzymes, apple cider vinegar, liver cleansing herbs, and DGL. Also helped. Here's my theory. Its acutally 3-4 separate things, creating hell on earth. 1. allergies, mold, pollen, dampness, ACs and fans, etc...
Try a cup of warm kettle water. When you ever have stomach pains I heard you are ment to lay on your left side. I ahve no idea why but I often do it. I cant guarantee this is your problem...But you should invest in a heat bag (wheat bag) They are great, warm, comforting, soothing.
It seems to hurt the most when I move quickly. I'm wondering if I pulled something. I called my doc and they asked me if it felt like contractions, which it totally doesn't. There's no tightening at all, it's kind of just there. They also asked if I had fever, loss of appetite, or nauseau, thinking it could be an appendicitis (sp?), but don't have any of that either. They kind of freaked me out, so I'm just putting it out there to see if anyone had the same feeling, and if you think it's ok.
5 mg ( first was 5 mg ) Ormocor and 80mg Lipitor. I get pains in my chest in the heart/sternum area esp., when I wake up in the morning or Ilean to one side or twist my upper body. The pain is sharp but appears and ends abruptly lasting a few seconds. Other then this I have done 10 mile treks, walk 3-4 miles most days, sometimes jog, walk up steephill at a brisk pace every other day. Sometimes walk up the stairs 30 times, which gets my sysyem going but don't suffer any pains.
I'm 18 and I think I've been having a lot of problems with my stomach since Friday nite (10/25). I had a BLT sandwich and about an hour later I felt very very nauseous. I could have thrown up if I tried but I didn't. The next morning I woke up, still kind of nauseous, so I took some Pepto Bismol and it made me feel a bit better. Later on in Saturday, I felt some congestion coming on in my throat. Sure enough, I woke up with some nasty yellow, green, and red phlegm on Sunday morning.
Small and large intestine when subject to this stress will sometimes lose ability to pass food and harden not being able to excercise. When food does not go down too smoothly in your gut, stomach is also stressed. In addition, food especially meat will rot in the intestine and toxins produced in the intestine will get absorbed to the blood stream, making your liver that much hard. It was only after antibiotic treatment that I found out about these horrible side effects.
A couple of weeks ago after breakfast I started to experience stomach pains which led to me spending most of the morning in the toilet. Ever since then I've been ALTERNATING BETWEEN DIARRHEA AND CONSTIPATION. My stomach seems to start cramping everytime I eat. Even small amounts. Sometimes even a cup of tea can irritate my stomach. My bowel movements usually begin with soft fatty-looking stools, progressively getting looser and waterier after each subsequent visit to the toilet.

The best way I can explain it is this. When you dont eat, when you feel hungry, your stomach produces acid. It also produces acid when you eat abruptly, or eat foods which are hard to digest. This acid build up in the form of gas in your stomach presses up against the vagal nerve, and produces palps. So heres what I do. Eat when your hungry!! If you cant, have some crackers handy, these will absorb the acid in your stomach.
