stomach pains under ribs

I am a new mommy so i gI am 15 weeks and 3 days and I was having really bad stomach pains on my right side under my ribs for two days. Couldn't lay on that side or anything. It then migrated to the just the left side bit in the same spot. Then it just went away. Anyone know what's happening?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and I haven't really had any morning sickness. But the last couple nights I've had sharp pains. N my lower ribs and sometimes on the sides of my stomach is it normal?

Every once in a while I have pretty severe pains under my ribs. It usually occurs on the right side, but sometimes it can spread to the middle, over to the left slightly and to the middle of my back. It usually feels like there is a bit of swelling. I also have nausea some of the time. The pain usually only lasts for 4-5 hours, but the last pain I've had has lasted from Wednesday around 4 a.m. and has continued through today (Thursday).

I kept imagining that i had cut the inside of my throat with the chip. I had this strange sensation that my stomach/intestines (just below my ribs) were bleeding inside. I thought i was only imagining it and that the crisp had just been a bit big for my throat and insides and that everything would be grand. so i went home and went to bed. I've just woken up a while ago and i completely forgot about the pain for a while. But then i got up, made a cup of tea and went on the internet.

im 13 weeks an I just started to get pains on my ribs and under my ribs an I just freeze because it hurts so much I can't even breath, it only last for abt 10-15 seconds but it's really painful. Do any of you get this feeling ??

Everytime I try and sit down I always get these pains at the bottom of my ribs then like the top of my stomach will start hurting almost like pressure or something and it feels like its hard for me to breathe but when I lay down or stand up it goes away I can breath normal again..

last year i came down with pains under my ribs and it lasted for 6 weeks, i was given a gastrocopy and colonescopy and blood test and everthing was fine, no doctor could tell me what it was , beside having a fatty liver, so i went on a fat free diet , after a year this pain came back more painful than the previous time, i underwent a scan and a bowel specimen the b specimen is fine and the scan after nearly a month have not got the result, the pain is bad and i too was given pain killers and i d

Symtoms are dull ache to moderate pains under rhs ribs near surface. Seems aggrevated by drinking the very next day after just 1 or 2 pints. Also makes me feel very tired. Have also experienced pain lower on the same side near to where a belt would be. Sometimes in the back opposite this. Have tried various IBS cures but nothing changed at all. I do not believe its IBS at all. Am obviously worried that I have liver damage although hope that bloods tests would have shown this.

Hi I've been woken up with bad pains in my mid section of stomach and under the bottom of my ribs, to which I can't touch or put any pressure on there as it hurts. It feels as though I have been kicked and punched in my stomach which really hurts. It's been going on for years but doctors tend to push it to one side.. I can't lay out straight, touch my stomach, just curl up in a ball and wait for it to pass. What is this??

I dont think what Ive been experiencing has been contractions but I get really bad pains like below my ribs. They last a long time and kind of feel like a sore muscle but much worse. Has anyone else had this or know what it could be?

I get sharp pains as well towards the top of my stomach and under my ribs. It seems to get worse when i lay down, or when i wake up and first get up from laying down. I'm not sure what the problem is, I have IBS and am on Bentyl for that, but the constant gurgling and air in my stomach is really starting to bother me, any suggestions?

I feel sick to my stomach a lot and when I lay on my stomach I feel like there is a knot up high by my ribs. Also, when I lay down I won't burp, but as soon as I sit up a lot of air comes out without warning or my trying. This has been getting worse for the last couple of years. t as often and not as bad, but usually it radiates under my left arm too. I also get pains in my stomach all over, sharp pains a bit like spasms, as well as lower back pain at times, I also feel nausea at some points too with all of these symptoms. As long as you have been fully checked out I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I had experienced a stomach pain this afternoon which then led into the night as a constant. Assumed at first it was just the baby kicking under the ribs and I am moving organs around but started to worry as it progressively got worse. Anyone know what the cause can be and what I should do?

I know I should not question my doctor, but anyways, my stomach has been hurting. If I lay on it, I get sharp pains. I have also had cramping, sometimes to the point to where I feel like I am going to double over. Everyday early in the morning I run to the bathroom at least 3 times. The bowel movement are mostly always yellow. I have been going through this for more than a month. I have also have nausea. Some days are worse than others.

Lately ever time I eat I get a knott (spasm) in the middle of my ribs at my stomach. I have had a Cat scan, blood work, pelvic ultrasound, ultra sound of my kidneys and there is nothing abnormal. I know there is something wrong. I wouldnt have pain, other wise. Sometimes I will get sharp pains after eating and I have to wait a few seconds and then it goes away. Anyone got any thoughts.... I will probably have to find another doctor....

and for the past few days ive been feeling sharp pains like at the top of my stomach. and i dont know what this mean or is. the pains only last like a second or 2 and they arn't offten, i just get them every now and then. is this normal, or should i ask my doctor. and sometimes ill feel pains in my ribs.
