Have any of you been tested for Celiac's Disease or tried going on a gluten free diet? I used to feel sick all the time too after eating. One time, I lost 20 pounds in a single week. I've felt a lot of the symptoms mentioned. I stopped eating gluten (aka wheat) and the symptoms stopped. I feel much better now and have been on a gluten free diet for two years. It's tough and you have to give up a lot of food that you no doubt love, but trust me, feeling better is worth it.

Last week a new symptom set in, I feel very lethargic and sick to my stomach after eating at all, so now I just plain hate to eat all together. I was tested for everything and so far no answers. My doctor thinks I am a hypochondriac and my insurance is starting to question my claims.

I had such bad hemmeroids after the last surgery,I was getting stabbing pains in my bowel and groin a could not walk. after a barium enema they discovered nothing, but the bloated vessels. Since I mild heartburn, but I get these little pains in between my breast bones and rig cage, and tingling in the abdomen. Could this be galstones? Even ant-acids didn't really have any effect. Then I started getting some medium-level stomach pains and very occasional light chest pains at the same time. I can't seem to find any type of link between say, eating anything in particular (apart from drinking white wine) which also brings it on. Sometimes it stays with me for a week or so. I've never had any problem with white wine before. Even if I don't drink white wine I still feel this way sometimes.
In reviewing her sugars, I noticed that whenever she was running high for more than 24 hours, (not high enough to cause keytones in Em but maybe in others)it seemed like when she came back down she would crash and have a bad low, then level out and that's when she would get the stomach pains, after her sugar was back to normal. That is the only thing we could pin point as a pre-cursor to the stomach aches. She's on a pump now and so far we haven't had this happen any more.
Within the next few days it subsided and happened periodically when having a bowel movement or just any time during the day. I started having pains in my stomach shortly thereafter, belching and passing alot of gas. I immediatly thought I have colon cancer as I am the type of person to think the worst. My bowel movements are normal color. The size varies-sometimes long and skinny (very rarely) and most of the time medium sized.
00 for a box of 30, really help with blood sugar spikes and days that your stomach cant seem to digest food properly, I actually have one next to my bed so if I wake up with stomach pains in the middle of the night I can sip on it, seems to really help) * be careful what you eat, certain foods are hard for me to eat, lettuce, raw carrots, those types of things I eat in small quantities only! No large chefs salad for this girl( used to be one of my favorites!
I burp very often before and after food. Sometimes I can feel the gas in my throat and after having American breakfast in the morning, when I burp in the afternoon, I can still smell the food. Recently my dad age 57 heavy smoker admitted due to ulcer in his oesophagus, no bad bacteria and currently on medications.
If it happens all the time it is more likely to be a little infection, if not, it could be period related. Are the pains more in the uterus or are they in the entrance area? It could be nerve pains as they can be sharp. I would check for infection though because all you might need are some tablets to sort it out.
Your chest might hurt after eating wheat or bread due to indigestion. If you have concerns about this please consult your doctor.
When I wake up I feel dizzy, faint, hungry, and the gnawing hunger pain in my stomach. I've gained 10 pounds because I eat all the time, and I'm don't exercise anymore because of the pain and fear that I'll faint. Other issues I'm having are: excessive gas, bloating, burping up bile, diarrhea in the mornings and increased bowel movements. I also suffer from anxiety. When I start getting the hunger feeling I worry that my blood sugar is low and that sends me into an anxiety attack.
Lucky for me I have been in remission since my surgery in 2001. I am now starting to have the same pains/symptoms as you again. My GI prescribed Pentasa as a long term medication to see if we can keep it at bay. Good Luck!! I hope the remicade works for you.
I haven't gotten nauseous for any reason in Years. This was after only eating three or four carrots. Also, while eating them, I tasted mostly the almost-metallic part of the taste of carrots (which is the part of the taste I don't like). I thought perhaps there was something in the carrots that I was getting too much of by eating the carrots so regularly. It's gotten to the point where almost every time I eat raw carrots, I get stomach pain and/or nausea and/or acid.
Last night my family had pizza and I thought, what the heck, I have pain no matter what and I had 2 pieces. The funny thing is that the pains that came after eating pizza were less than when I had the bagel. I am more and more convinced that it is gastro related and not my heart because it happens after every meal. However the severe sweats and nausea I had yesterday coupled with the pains while walking around Walmart scared the heck out of me.
I was wondering if anyone out there has had any chest pains after their surgery??? A few weeks ago, I got really sick with the flu and went to the doctor and after that started having pains all over my body including the pain in my hip. Sometimes I will wake up with it. It seems if I don't think about it, it goes away. I have the pains in my stomach, side, ribs under my breasts, middle of my back right under my neck, shoulder blades, forearms, and many more spots. Most of the day I'd say I have pain somewhere.
When I was younger, probably between the ages of 12-15, I would get severe stomach pains where I would be doubled over almost unable to breathe. They could never find any patterns or anything wrong. Finally they told me to take Tums at the onset of it to try to get rid of it. Sometimes it helped, sometimes it didn't. There were a couple of instances where my sugar was low, but most of the time it was normal. I eventually out grew them.

I knew I was not the only one who suffered from what my family calls "The Burps" because I had a boyfriend as a teenager who also had them. Ever since I got them though I have not found anyone else who knows what they are or what causes them and when I have mentioned it to my doctor he has no idea what I mean, I keep telling myself I need to go see him when I am having an episode but never seem to be able to.
I have recently in the last few days started experiencing this fluttering in the center of my stomach right below my belly button. The first couple of times it happened I actually thought my cell phone was on vibrate and went to get it out of my pocket only to find it wasn't in my pocket. I dismissed it at first thinking I was going mad but the reoccurrence of the fluttering has increased to about every couple of hours now. Its not painful just a bit bothersome and noticeable.
he had lots of hiccups, strong belly pain, bad breath, woke up during or after sleep with strong pains, became a very picky eater, pain in mouth from just eating cheerios...etc. endoscopy discovered the muscle that normally closes between esophagus and stomach is too weak, acid comes up a lot. all biopsies were ok. doc just told us he needs medicine (to treat GER before it turns into GERD, but i think it is GERD since he has it for so long), went on prelosic(?) solutab 7.
