I am 42 years old male but I don't believe I am constipated because I go to the bathroom at least once a day, usually in the morning after coffee. But I took some milk of magnesia anyway, hoping it would help. It didn't. I don't think I pulled a muscle in stomach. I have to admit that against my wife's advice I took 3 Advil tablets this morning and it did help some. What do you think this is?
I cannot take ibuprofen or aspirin more than a couple of weeks before I get symptomatic now - I just eliminated them completely. If I am having stomach problems I cease all coffee/caffeine, all high acid foods such as tomatoe sauce and alcohol, etc. etc. The hidden effect of something wrong with you depletes your natural resources and using supplements can help but get it fixed whatever it is. Look for swelling or, if high BG in a.m.

He had chronic headaches/migraines - made worse if we ran out of coffee - stomach pains and cramps, such that it was thought he had an ulcer, shakes, vomiting, muscle cramps and many other symptoms. When he was diagnosed he went 'cold turkey' and once it was out of his system all of the signs and syptoms disappeared. I have discovered that I cannot tolerate even small amounts of coffee. - even the weak sorts such as Latte's.
I went on a high fiber low fat diet and lost 60lbs and felt great about my body but I felt sick inside. I had constant gas and stomach pains nausea and headaches. As soon as my fiber consumption went down I felt better but still had stomach aches and nausea and weird headaches and pain near the sides of my ears. Then about 9 months ago I was waking up choking and almost always had a sore throat and no voice.
About 1-2 years ago, I noticed that I would get minor stomach pains when drinking coffee on an empty stomach and have to go to the bathroom more than usual. I went to my doctor and they said it was probably caffeine and gave no other advice/suggestions. Then, about 6-7 months ago I would get the same pain when eating chocolate. It was bearable so I thought nothing of it.
I had thanksgiving dinner and not long after eating I started getting bad stomach pains. I have gas or had gas and got sick 6 times. Stomach pain isn't cramping and there is no spotting but the pain won't subside. I always have some sort of stomach ache and nausea all the time but this pain is different. This isits 1st pregnancy and I'm just not sure what to do. Tried calling my boyfriend but he's sleeping and has his phone off.
It has ALWAYS been precipitated by my drinking coffee. Let me say that I've had a 'bad' stomach my whole life (many tests and nothing ever found) and coffee has been a love/hate relationship for me. It gives me indigestion and heartburn so I go off of it for a while but eventually come back.
It can be brown or coffee colored if coming from the stomach. Tumors/cancers of the oral cavity or mouth, pyorrhea or pus in gums and Vitamin C deficiency can cause bleeding from mouth, which if ingested can result in vomiting. Most of these conditions may have been ruled out in your case by the endoscopy you had. Also, rule out food intolerance (lactose, gluten etc). The other possibility is that you are coughing up blood.
I'm a twenty year old female. I've recently started a new diet, but have ensured that I get all vitamins and enough fiber. Two weeks ago I had what I believed to be a stomach virus. Because I haven't had a stomach bug since childhood, I just took it easy and ate light. I felt 100% better five days after my first day of vomiting. starting this past Thursday (five days ago) I started feeling sick again.
ive been getting these stomach pains every now and then which are really bad. when i get the pains i start sweating and shaking and can feel my arms and hands tingling. last night i went to bed at 10.30pm and at 11.30pm i woke up with the stomach pains. i took 2 rennie tablets as i seem 2 think that the pains was indigestion, then a few minutes later i started sweating and shaking and getting the horrible tingles.
That night, I left the party because I had such bad stomach pains. I went home and was on the toilet for about an hour, with EXTREme stomach pain and diaherra. The next morning I felt out of it, but I attributed it to being hungover. I still felt out of it later that night, but felt that I probably just needed a good night's sleep. I woke up the next day still feeling out of it, almost like I was still drunk, and this continued through the next day. I went to the E.R.
I started going to my doctor first when I was thirteen about this and she has not the slightest idea what is going on. I read the tag about stomach pains after tennis and my syptoms sound very similar. I am in good shape and exercise regulairly, and it only happens on random days spread by weeks of no problems, and it only happens when I push myself to my limits. I have asthma, but I can outrun any person in my school so I do not think that is a problem.
Hi There, I am a healthy 21year old, but for the past week I've been experiencing extreme burning sensations in the centre and right side of my stomach (also the upper abdominal). It sometimes feel like I get heartburn from this and it makes me nauseas at times (but I don't vomit). It almost feel like a constant hunger pain. I also get a lower back pain sometimes and I dont know if there pains might be related.
I was taken to the hospital and the diagnoses as acute onset of enteritis. Lately, I have been having stomach pains and at the same time lower back pains. The stomach pain comes right after eating and sometimes it goes away but sometimes it stays for the whole day and beyond. There are also times when I feel like the food I have eaten is till somewhere in my throat.
coffee depends on the acuidity, i've noticed my mothers coffee hurts my stomach while most diner coffee is just fine.. if however my stomach feels off i avoid coffee and go for tea which i haven't noticed a problem with. too much coffee definitely is a problem however so i usually stick to no more than one refill when i'm out. i haven't tried not eating at least 2 to 3 hours before bedtime or napping or laying at an angle in bed.. but i'll try that out and see if it helps at all..

Anyway, two weeks later from that day, I started having abdominal discomforts 3 to 4 times weekly. Abdominal discomforts included gastric pains and diarrhoea. Then later on, after around 3 to 4 months, the abdominal discomforts were felt everyday. Later on, it became a few times daily. Now, I'm still having the problem. Last year in July I think, I had a Urea Breath Test and it turned out negative. I was told that I probably have a sensitive stomach.
Friday, I went out to eat with my family, when we left the resteraunt, I felt fine, but after about 45 minutes, I got a horrible stomach ache. I layed down and I felt like I was going to throw up, and I could only sleep in 45 minute spurts. All of the sudden, my stomach started to feel better, so I fell asleep for a suffiecient amount of time. When I woke up, I felt just fine, until about 20 minutes later, my stomach started to hurt again. I layed down the whole day.

For the past 3 weeks, i keep getting these stomach pains and it's bad. After i eat is worse and when i don't eat. Sometimes, there's pressure in my chest (near my heart) and it's all gas. I'm afraid it's something serious, that's why i'm trying to find out what these symptoms are (before the doctor tells me).
However, I have been experiencing severe hunger pains before my workout and immediately after. It is very painful. coffee in the morning around 5:30 after my workout makes me feel sick to my stomach. Now, even after I have oatmeal with fresh fruit, I still have hunger pains. I drink about 60 oz of water every day. Any thoughts? Suggestions? Any help would be great since I do not have medical insurance.
I know that stress, poor eating habits and drinking could be factors however I have limited these factors but still get freuquent lateral chest pains that feel like stabbing sharp pains, can you offer any help?
There have actually been studies done that showed that coffee could be GOOD for the liver. Yup. Take every little study with a grain of salt, granite, for every study you find pro something you can easily find something against. Have your cup of Joe and enjoy it. Unless you are scarfing down oxycontins like there is no tomorrow - you'll be fine. If I knew how to go back and look in here (after all my years here you would think I could) and find the old study....
The pain/discomfort was sharper and lasted for several days. Actually, as I type this, my stomach feels upset after drinking a cup of coffee. The chest pains have cleared up but I am starting to believe that it was muscle related along with a bout of GERD. Usually, antacids work for me but this time it did nothing to aleviate my symptoms. That is why I worried...because I never felt such sharp chest pains before. Especially, for several days in a row. It comes and goes but feels less sharp.
i think they said there was something else, but i can't remember. i wake up every morning to nausea and stomach cramping. the more i eat at night, and the later, the worse the pain is in the morning. i've been doing very good about not eating after 9:30 at night, but i still wake up hurting. the nausea actually stays with me longer when i don't eat at night. and it's not hunger pains. because the thought of food in the morning will make me want to throw up.
i dont know if its caused by stress but i get a lot ofcramping and after i go to the bathroom the pains go away but there very intense cramps..ifits a food intolerence should i stay away from the foods that bother me..i need some education!
