Avatar_m_tn About two months ago she started moaning a lot while she was just lying down. Sometimes it is loud enough to wake us up at night. It really does sound like she is in pain, and she is not the type of dog to ever whine or cry, she is very tough. Prior to this, the only time she has ever cried from pain was when I accidentally closed the door on her tail. It's not a constant moan, but somewhat frequent throughout the night or in the evening when we are watching tv.
Avatar_f_tn He is in the UK and about 14 months ago he had terrible acute stomach pain at about 1am to the point where he got very white and sweaty and felt nauseous but wasn't sick. We called the ambulance and when they came he had extremely low blood pressure and they had to put saline drips in both arms. By the time he got to the hospital he felt a little better. They took x-rays and it looked like he had a compaction but nothing else. They took blood tests and all were fine.

It comes and goes its really high like right under the v part the ribs and top of stomach. 626316_tn?1221980978 I was visiting an aunt of mine, and one day while lying in bed in pain. She came to me with a shot of zambuca and sat down and asked me about the pain. I said to her "oh it's ok, it always happens, it's normal". Her immediate reaction was "NO, THIS IS NOT NORMAL, if we were all in pain after we ate food, nobody would eat". So then it dawned on me, get some help. When i moved to my new city my problems continued to get worse and yes, My bowels were getting worse to.
Avatar_n_tn Hi, I am a 33-year male with a normal weight and with a healthy diet (low fat, no soda, no can food and no fast food). From about 3 years ago I am having a dull stomach pain while sleeping, which causes sore throat and much discomfort and restlessness. When the pain is not so much, I feel better throughout the day until falling asleep again. If the pain is more intense this remains during the day.
Avatar_f_tn I'm 19 weeks, every time I lean over slightly or when I sit down and lean forward a bit, I feel pressure just above my pelvic bone. And also does it if I'm on my feet for a while, it starts to feel like it's pulling a bit and feel as though I have to support my lower stomach. Anyone else experienced these things?
Avatar_f_tn I woke up led on my back and had a really bad pain so got up to go to the loo and it went was a little achy after but Is fine now, could the baby have been led on the bladder? Also will it harm the baby if I sleep on my back?
Avatar_f_tn she didn't know she was pregnant till she was 7 months which I find odd and think she was lying cuz I've been feeling my son move since I 20 weeks and at 23 weeks I could actually see my son push out on my belly. Also for those 7 months she was drinking, smoking cigarettes, and weed so now I'm thinking she probably just "acted" like she didn't know so she could continue doing these things! I just find it hard to believe she didn't know she was pregnant until 7 MONTHS!!!!
Avatar_n_tn I know how frustrated you probably are. I not only have it while lying down but thoughout the day. When I take a deep breath there is pain. When you apply pressure there doesn't seem to be pain anywhere particular. I'm interested in what you find out. My Dr. is also referring me to a Gasterologist (sp). Though I did have a colonoscopy 2 years ago. My mom just passed away of Colon Cancer so it's always at the back of my mind. I will keep you posted to what my dr.
Avatar_m_tn - Back pain I have had serious back pain for over a year aswel, I can't seem to keep still as where I sit down I am in pain, when I lie down It is relived, but after lying down for a while the pain comes back and I have to change when I am doing again (can't keep still). A back massage and putting pressure on the middle of my back seems to relive the pain for a while.
Avatar_n_tn leaving me incapable of doing anything except staying at home and lying in constant pain with no rest (sleepless nights) and not being able to find a position to sit or lie in without feeling pain. Well the doctors said they couldnt see anything in the ultrasound, which kind of upset me and dissapointed me weirdly because atleast if they found something they could sort it out.
Avatar_f_tn so, in the past few months, I've been woken up out of my sleep by a weird stomachache. I can't really even explain the pain... it's localized entirely in my stomach, & feels like an almost cramping pain. it occasionally makes me feel somewhat nauseous, but not always.
Avatar_f_tn I also get really bad period cramps and a few weeks ago, when I had both the stomach pain and cramps, I was woken up at 2am in unbelievable pain, which I couldn’t distinguish whether it was cramps or the stomach pain. It didn’t go away very quickly either and pain killers didn’t work. Now I’m at the stage where every time I eat, my stomach gurgles and churns really loudly, then I get the pains. I also have the feeling like I want to burb and throw up at the same time.
Avatar_n_tn You can do this while sitting on floor or chair or lying in bed. Bhramri Pranayam -Close eyes. Close ears with thumb, index finger on forehead, and rest three fingers on base of nose touching eyes. Breathe in through nose. And now breathe out through nose while humming like a bee. Duration : 5 to 10 times ---- Only by doing you will benefit and will feel good that you can do something to help the body.Copy and print this to master the technique.
Avatar_n_tn I stopped taking the Ibproufen after a spat of brown urine and mild stomach cramping. The epidydmitis pain hasn't gone away completely yet but it's mostly gone. I had a similar stomach problem earlier this year while on the anti-biotics (though that was much more severe) but that went away after taking some Probiotics. I've also took some mastic gum to see if that would help early on when this problem started.
Avatar_m_tn She was diagnosed a month ago and have been complaining about stomach pain, sometimes worst than others. With her stomach pain, she also experiences horrible chest pain that comes and goes. I have taken her to her pediatrician, and am now demanding to see a specialist because sometimes she is doubled over in pain. What crazy it that once we get to the hospital, the pain is not as severe. The doctors assumed that she was lying about it, but I know thats untrue. I don't know what to do anymore.
Avatar_n_tn Eating right before bed is not good if you have acid reflux (GERD). It causes the stomach acid to increase while you are lying down which will make your GERD worse, causing erosion of your esophagus. IF you have GERD keep your head elevated at night. It's trial and error when it comes to what foods will impact your digestive tract, with sugars and caffeine being the worst.
Avatar_n_tn After surgery, a persistent stomach ache started. There was lots of gas and a moving pain..After approx 5 weeks I contacted my doctor and was told it was probably an aftermath of a "very big"surgery.Since I had all the related tests ,I didnt worry too much,I felt my stomach and intestines had been thoroughly examined so I had nothing to worry about. After I started a relatively bland diet, the symptoms improved,....then last night I was woken by a very painful brief stabbing pain .
Avatar_f_tn If you do then I'm sure he/she will help you with a referral to someone who may be able to diagnose your exact problem, a physiatrist perhaps. I think most physiatrists will treat pain while they are in the process of trying to find out whats going on with you. the nice thing about them is the fact that they treat the "whole' person, greatly improving one's quality of life in the process.
Avatar_f_tn She gets the pains at very random times like when she wakes up in the morning and after taking a few bites of food or just while lying around. I have asked the docs and cant find anything wrong. She has been tested for Celiac with a negative result. Recently she has been complaining that when she eats it feels like the food is going down her back. Does anyone know what that could be or any other things that could be causing her pain in her stomach?
Avatar_n_tn it's a sudden stabbing pain that only lasts a few seconds, but recurs randomly throughout the day, sometimes coming in spells and sometimes leaving me alone for a good hour or so before striking again. i've also had a persistent upset stomach since the pain started, at first it made me nausous but that's lessened. i don't know if it's related at all, but it all started around the same time i got a toothache that's still lingering but mostly just feels sore up in the top of my gums now.
Avatar_n_tn I have read what others have asked about chest pain and arrhythmias when lying on the left side, but mine seems worse and I wonder if it's an area of concern. I get severe chest pain and SVTs when I lie on the left. It is not PVC's, I have those occassionally too and know what they feel like--I am talking about my heart rapidly pounding and so hard that my husband can feel it, and when it starts, it goes steady and won't stop until after I re-position.
Avatar_n_tn I get these a lot too, mainly due to gastric problems from certain foods that I eat. Have you tried lying down on your stomach for a while? It may alleviate some of the pain. The next time you are alone, try lying down on the floor...not a bed, because you need a flat, firm surface. Next you need to bring one of your legs up toward your arms, bending at the knee and keeping the leg on the floor, as far up as you can stretch it.
Avatar_f_tn sometimes when I'm lying down my right side these last few days seem like it's got an electrical shock/fizz init which feels very sharp and actually bounce off the bed/sofa.
Avatar_m_tn Sugar intake seems to correlate to stomach pain in my particular case. I cut out most refined sugars during college while I was running cross-country and it seemed to help immensely.
1427932_tn?1282989817 --- Ocassional pain in the kidney region(although got urine and blood test to rule out kidney problem). --- Leg pain (thigh pain and foot pain) and in the area behind the knee region. --- muscle twitches all over the body and palpitations kind of sensation in the palms (especially right palm) --- Cold hands and predominantly right hand and hand pain between the wrist and elbow. --- Heart palpitations while sleeping some times so severe that i wake up from sleep.
1103038_tn?1449653920 Does it sound like this? http://heartburn.about.com/cs/articles/a/Gastroparesis.htm Or does it occur after eating certain foods like wheat, rye, barley, malt? And sound like this? http://kidshealth.org/teen/diseases_conditions/digestive/celiac.html If it seems to occur after eating wheat, then it could be a problem with gluten. If you can buy foods with teff instead of wheat (hoping you can get this since it grows in Nigeria or something).
Avatar_f_tn it sent a sharp pain through my whole stomach but it only happens if i sneeze lying down.. is that normal? or should i be concerned?
