From Last 1 week I have suffering pain in my Lower back on the right side and in my stomach on the right side . The pain started from the Ribs on the front side but has now gradually moved to the back side. Also , there are Bumps on my skin on my back (wherever there is pain )
My Stools are normal and the Pain seems to worsen after I have eaten food. My Stomach feels floaty even if I eat little, even though I am still hungry. I feel Sleepy and there is a constant noise in my ears.
I have been experiencing pain in my right side at the bottom of my rib cage for the past several months. The pain gets worse after I eat certain foods, and worse when I am sitting down or lying on the right side. When I am sitting it feels like something is squeezing my rib cage very tightly. The pain sometimes radiates to my back and up to my shoulder blade. When I lay on my back I sometimes feel a squeezing, contracting,sensation. The pain is almost always present it just varies in severity.
I tried eating some cheese dip a month ago and woke up in extreme pain on my right side that spread across my stomach, threw up and had to go to the ER. The dr swore it was my gallbladder but all tests (blood, ultrasound and HIDA scan) were normal. I tried eating 1 cookie 2 weeks ago with my egg whites and woke up with the same pain just not as severe but I didn't throw up this time. Now I hurt all day long (right middle side).
I have has right side pain that started about 6 years ago right under my ribcage about where the gall bladder is. It was constant but pretty local to a small area. Over the years it has grown to all over the upper right side at times. Front to back but mostly on the front. I have noticed also now I burp more and of late seem to get more indigestion. I have seen 3 gastrolgists and had every test you they could recommend except a liver core which the doctors don't want to do.
s to surgeons to pcp over the last year. I am having right side and back pain. They have ruled that I have esophagitis and gerd with some stomach erosion, however no cause to what is creating all this acid. I have had ct scan, hida scan and ultrasounds which are all coming back normal. I am on omperzole 20mg 4x a day and anitriplyne 25mg.
Hello. for two days in a row I been getting pain on the right side of my stomach to the back of my rib cage. and It feels like in the front to. I went to the E.R. and they thought it was my right kidney. or my gallbladder. they performed the test for gallbladder and kidney. they took blood and urine. and all came back negative. I usually happens coming into the evening after eating. what could be causing these pains, could it be something more serious.

what i mean is that the same place it hurts in my right upper side chest it hurts on my right side upper back its like the pain is in same place back and front " i have been getting this pain on and off for abt 4 weeks and recently for 2 days i have a sore throat , burning pain in throat and ears and goes down to stomach but no stomach pain ,swallowing is painfull , what can this be and is this something to go to the doctor abt or do i needto go to the emergency room for this .

The heart burn and acid reflux was back, the stomache pain was almost unbearable. After the Hida scan I had pain in left and right side under my rib cage. Miserable heart burn that nothing helped and extrem nausea to the point that I couldn't eat.
I will go see this specialist. But to be honest, I have had enough. If he doesn't give me a resonable answer, I will stick to my diet and enough will be enough! I am tired of docs. and Hosp. tests ect...
Right side pain under your ribs can indicate high blood pressure. The pain comes from your liver trying to compensate. I don't know how it works exactly but that's what my doctor said. If you were further along I would say it's just your stomach and uterus pushing into your ribs, but since it's so early in your pregnancy it is likely something else. Good luck!
I sleep on both sides. I even sleep on my back sometimes and I'm 39 weeks.

I told him I did not think reflux becusae at this point the acid pain had stopped again and I was expieriencing pain other than that of burning and it was in my back and under my rib cage right side. I asked if reflux is felt in the back and he said well maybe. Nice answer..... Well the burning came back 5 months later and I decided to go to another Gastro and she told me to take the Zegerid for 30 dys and along with Fibercon once a day becuase it sounded like reflux.
I am a 34 year old male, with chronic right side(back and stomach) pain. The pain is to the right of my belly button and a little bit below my rib cage. It is pretty severe(to the touch) I recently had a full GI test which was normal. I also had my appendix removed. The pain is severe when I wake up in the morning. I have constant diarrhea. After I pass the diarrhea the pain subsides but will come back in a few hours.
the pain is in my left side, not all the time only sometimes..also sometimes when i breath heavy or take a deep breath..the pain is anywhere from right below my rib cage to the shoulder blade on my left side back!! Ive had this niggling pain in my right side half way up the ribs for a few weeks on and off then 9 days ago it was quite severe. I was admitted to hospital where they said it was gallstones, an ultrasound showed nothing. I came home after one night. My chest xray was clear. The camera into my stomach showed gastritis, ( inflammation of the lining of my stomach). Gp thinks its inflammation of the intercostal muscles but it doesn't hurt when i move, when i eat i get severe pain.
I'm 2 months in my first but i have light pain on my right side idk if it's normal but me and my boyfriend got in a argument yesterday could something be wrong with my baby!!
Went to an Orthopedic dr today had another CT scan and 7 chest and side xrays. All show negative. Pain is radiating from back, to side to front with severe aches and pinpoint needle stabs in back and stomach area. No vomiting, still have an appetite. No fever but do get chilled occassionally. Don't know what Dr. to turn to next or what I should do. Pain level on hydrocodone is around a 5 but off meds is a 10+. Any suggestions as to what to do???
This came on suddenly 3 nights ago, enough to wake me and make me unable to get back to sleep. It is a dull slow ache in the mid back right side that is relieved a bit by shifting positions but returns quickly. The first day I was nauseous and unable to eat, there is still a bit of that but no vomiting anymore. I am a 63 year old woman, overweight but active. Could this be just muscle (have tried hot and cold packs but they make no difference), kidney?
Ive started to develop really bad pains in my stomach and right side. This has occured about 3 days ago. I also sometimes have sharp pains that start in my stomach and I feel it in my rectum. After I eat, I have to go to the bathroom. Its like everything i eat goes right through me. I dont have a fever or have shown any signs of being sick however my appetite has decreased.
I went to the Doctor and he said it could be just an ulcer, medicated me and said to come back if it worsens.
