Avatar n tn The trademark for migraines is that OTC pain medicine doesn't usually touch it at all, sleep doesn't always help, severe headache for more than 4 hours, and nausea without vomiting. Go see your normal doctor and they will probably prescribe some stronger pain medicine and may recommend you see a neurologist. For me, the stronger pain meds didn't really work. They decreased the severity of the headache but the pain was still there even though I was kinda stoned.
Avatar m tn Lads, i am not a crazy fellow, i feel something is not right. I have this lingering headache, and stomach pain that just doesnt go away. prior to this i have had nausea, lymth node pain, i am even sweating right now. i truly believe it has something to do with the condom not covering whole organ and a scratch or cut on penis has attributed to a std/hiv. I will go to my local clinic and get tested. comments would be appreciated.

Since this episode with my headache I have been experiencing pain in my back. On Sunday morning 2/22/2010 I woke up with a piercing headache. I got up ate breakfast got my sister to care for my 4 year old daughter and spent the whole day in bed sleeping.
Avatar f tn My 13 year old daughter developed a severe headache, nausea and vomiting three weeks ago. We have seen a pediatric neurologist, admitted to the hospital and she is still in bed with nausea, vomiting and frontal head pain. We have had a negative MRI/MRA, spinal tap and blood work was ok with just WBC and platelets elevated. We started with 5 mg of maxalt, naproxen, compazine, zofran, toradol and phenergan injections. No ease of pain or symptoms!

Avatar f tn Ive been getting nausea and headaches and it *****.. Its all random at that too... Sometimes my lower belly will hurt and my stomach will tighten? It leads to cramping and rib and or back pain... What does this mean?
Avatar n tn no there really isnt nausea...just a heavy uneasy stomach and at the end of the night when the stomach is empty a mild headache develops.Like around 11pm or so...and belching tends to ease the headache some.Another concern of mine is that about 3 months ago I started taking 1000 UI vitamin D tablets daily.I noticed my stools started smelling a terrible metallic smell every day.
Avatar m tn Sometimes I get a little headache which disappears when the nausea goes away. I had a physical and my bloodsugar seems to be fine. What could cause this?
Avatar n tn It is characterized by episodes of moderate to severe central abdominal pain lasting 1–72 hours. Abdominal Migraine consists primarily of abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. For infrequent abdominal Migraine attacks, medications used for other forms of Migraine are often employed. such as NSAIDs, antinausea medications, Midrin, and the triptans. 973741 tn?1342342773 I was sick until Saturday night when the nausea stopped and the headache lessened a bit. I still had stomach pains and diarrhea and a mile headache as well as feeling like a train had run over me. It was the kind of sick where you can't sleep--- so I was exhausted. By Monday, I felt much better--- no headache or nausea and just a touch of diarrhea but STILL the pains and feeling like I was going to have diarrhea. Now, I'm on the flip end and constipated.
Avatar f tn The next day I felt lightheaded and nausea. Tuesday and Wed. I felt fine except for the headache. Then Yesterday at work I was giving a massage and got clammy, cold sweets, lightheaded and blacked out. I sit down and drank some water. later that night the vomiting came. Woke up this morning still with the headache. I Keep checking and I don't have a fever. Never have gotten headaches before. The pain is in the middle shooting out and nothing makes it go away.
Avatar f tn Diarrhea; gas; headache; indigestion; nausea; stomach upset; temporary metallic taste; vomiting. Some people only get the side effects for a few weeks. I still have it but It's worth it since I ovulate now. Check with your doctor if any of these most common side effects persist or become bothersome: Diarrhea; gas; headache; indigestion; nausea; stomach upset; temporary metallic taste; vomiting.
Avatar n tn I find that, when I get a severe headache, it often leads to nausea, as well. Did the headache start first, and then the nausea, or did all of your symptoms start at the same time? Ordinarily, I would advise that you take some aspirin or other pain medication, but it sounds like you would have trouble keeping those in your stomach. You might try the liquid form of, say, acetaminophen (Tylenol), since the liquids sometimes are easier to tolerate.
Avatar n tn Go to the doctor I don't know what the symptoms are, but when I hear this started after a chicken sandwich I think about salmonella. In general, salmonella symptoms begin with nausea and vomiting and progress to abdominal pains and diarrhea. Additional signs and symptoms include fever, chills and muscle pains, and can last anywhere from several days to two weeks.
Avatar m tn Stomach pain with headache initially, and feet/hands broke out in rash. Stomach feels bloated as well. eating makes stomach worse so far. Throat feels slightly sore/swollen as well but lymph node looks normal now. I have slept off the headache and for the most part the rashes have gone away but the stomach pain has spread to my lower back somewhat, and legs feel like lead altho i did take some nyquil prior. the stomach pain hasn't gotten much better despite sipping on Maalox.
Avatar f tn Hello, I could really use some advice about a problem I have had for 3-4 years with episodes of nausea and vomiting, often followed by a terrible headache as well as other symptoms. Initially, I would be woken at random several hours into the night with sudden onset of vomiting undigested food. I would be violently ill with sweats, shaking, and ears ringing as if I was going to pass out. This would happen every 2-3 months or so. I also had some gnawing stomach pain.

Avatar m tn Ive suffered from severe nausea since Jan 09!! Also get stomach pain, dizziness and constipation. Have had numerous tests including ct scan, ultrasound scan, stool samples and endoscopy. All that showed up was mild gastritis. My dr also thinks Ive got IBS. Take lansoprazole and domperidone which helps sometimes but not when its severe. I too put a cold wet flannel on the back of my neck and it does tend to help with the nausea though I dont know why!
Avatar f tn I have had my gallbladder removed. I have no abdominal pain except for when I first have food or liquid hit my stomach. The pain isn't bad though. Any help would be appreciated. I'm so hungry and just want to be able to eat something.
Avatar f tn that mainly at least start with stomach pain and nausea - sometimes also with headache, but not always - my nephew used to suffer from these. One reason I'm thinking along the migraine line is because of how you say she gets an ice pack for her neck when this happens.
