Hi. I'm 34 year old mother of 2 young children. For the last year, I haven't been able to feel normal. Last September, I was vomiting so I went to the doctor and she ran regular blood work and it showed urobilinogen in my urine (4.0). She did an ultrasound of my gallbladder and liver and it showed no abnormalities. We did urine again a week later and it was down to 0.2.

Like, I have depression, bladder spasms, siezures, stomach pain, nausea, joint pain , sometimes constipation. There all signs for acute intermittent porphyria. I also have nausea, dizziness, migraines and stomach pain. My nausea, dizziness and migraines are constant, but the stomach pain is intermittent. I was diagnosed with pots 2 months ago and also take fludrocortisone. I've had the same experience with ineffective nausea mediicne and migraine medicine. Even iv infusions fail to provide me with relief.
The only main difference is I had my gall bladder removed in July 08 and remnants and gall stones removed last May.

My daughter is 12 years old and has a lot of pain an cramping in her stomach. This tends to happen late in the evening. This doesn't happen every night but maybe 3 times a week. She has already started her period, but is not having it right now. Her last period ended about a week and half ago. Could this be heartburn? But within the last month, I began having random pain on both sides of my lower abdomen. Last Thursday, I woke up to excruciating pain and nausea and was rushed to Urgent Care. Today my stomach hurts when I touch it mostly in the middle and when I don't touch it. The pain feels like the inside of my stomach is just raw.
