I don’t agree with this finding because a muscle spasm has to do with more of a dull pain generating a knot. The pain that I have is burning pain that stays for a while and then turns itself to a dull pain but not like when one has a muscle knot. I want to mention one more detail. The first time I felt the pain was on December 11th 2007 around 8pm having a dinner in a restaurant, eating a whole Tilapia fish broiled.

I've been suffering from stomach pain for a while now, My somach balls up in a knot on one side usually Under my rib cage, I can't do stomach excersise, when IS feel it start to cramp up or get tight I have to literally stop what I'm doing to try and relax that part of my stomach or message it then after about five or ten mintues the pain will subside, It usually radiates to my back to my flank, and in my stomach area under my rib cage in the v part.

Hello i am a 25 year old female ans have been suffering with right si joint pain for a year now. I went to a physio in march and she said i have a muscle imbalance on my right side and that's what is causing my si joint pain. My hip is held back in my right side due to the muscle imbalance. She gave me strengthening exercises and i am going to pilates now. I have started to get pain in my left hip now which i have discovered is my left ql muscle.

my son is 5 year old he is having stomach pain his doctor is saying he is having abdomen knot what is this abdomen knot how it can be cured.

Three months ago I felt a knot on the right side of my stomach, I did x-ray, mri, cat scan and ultrasound. They found nothing, the pain is consistent. Later that night, i just felt a little tired with a sore throat, which i supposed was to be expected. Next day terrible nausea, terrible throat pain, and my stomach felt like it had been kicked by a horse. I can hardly eat anything now, i'm lucky if can stomach a bowl of chicken soup per day. It just feels like theres a tight knot in my stomach and i'm full after eating a very small amount .I did have two biopsys taken, so i'm wondering if this is why and hoping it will calm down.

s Disease, 4 year old I have severe pain in the left side of my stomach. I have gotten to where I am scared to eat. I have such bad cramps that they wake me up in the middle of the night. During the process I had to get clamps on my tubes the clamp broke off and landed down by pelvic area the doctor has to go and cut me just above my private area to get it out. The pain seems to be going away except this big knot at the bottom of my stomach (feels like a tumor) and it is numb to touch feels like rubber. I have had chills since I been home and the Dr said that chills could be from pain meds?

Is it painful when your stomach tightens? If not those are braxton hicks. A contraction would be a pain either in your stomach or back or both whenever your stomach tightens. Usually it will start out uncomfortable and move to painful and die back down to being uncomfortable. Hope that makes sense.

But not eating or drinking, pain in abdomen, reluctance to sit, not having regular or normal elimination habits, knot on his side, all that could add up to something serious. Please check back in here and let us know what your veterinarian finds.
