stomach pain just under ribs

I'm only 24+3 and for the last week and half I can't sit or lay on either side without this horrible pressure of pain under my left ribs.. It doesn't feel like his foot stuck up under there but I can't do anything bout it. Mom said it could be my organs needing a place to go and they chose there... Anyone else have this?? How far along were/are you? And how did you make it go away?!?!?!?

I have pressure under right side of rib cage just under breast level, feels like something is underneath pushing upwards. I am pregnant and was wondering if this could be related?? It's very uncomfortable but not painful at all. Only comfortable when standing.

Im having pain under both ribs . Could this be the baby ? I'm 25&5 and he is very active ..

hi,i know this might sound silly,but it could simply be trapped wind,,as i get it alot,sometimes i feel like im going to explode,and my ribs hurt,and as u say a sence of pressure,but if u think about it,when ur gut is full of gas,ur stomach swells,but ur ribs dont move, so the stomach must press against the ribs,,but u could always go to see ur gp, just to get it checked out,good luck, viv

8-year old son has had stomach pain for the last 5 years(located just above his belly button and slightly to the right). He has has x-rays, ultra sound, testing of stool all with no results. It is severe enough it does interfere with his sleep. He has a good appetite but can only eat small meals. In addition he is very small for his age 52 lbs and 45" tall; and his skin is now pasty looking and he usually has rings under his eyes, but no allergies.

Wow, you sound like me. Pain in my center chest (sternum). Slight pain under ribs. Belching. Also I have bloated feeling. Went to ED and mentioned "chest pain". Wow that was a mistake, But, they did check everything having to do with the heart and all came back normal. Do you have any more info on your problem?

I am 30 weeks pregnant and I had experienced a stomach pain this afternoon which then led into the night as a constant. Assumed at first it was just the baby kicking under the ribs and I am moving organs around but started to worry as it progressively got worse. Anyone know what the cause can be and what I should do?

With my first I had that pain about 25-30 weeks and was told the baby was under my ribs. It last 3-4 days and was gone. I was crying cause of the pain!

I don't know about the other women but I did not have high upper ab pain when my ovary was out of whack. I had bloating, constipation and general feeling of yuck but no actual pain with mine. Other women complain of pain down in the lower left or right side, even pain down the leg. Sounds like the ultrasound covered most of the internal organs. Wonder about a hernia which might not show while you're lying down.

have had it for 10 yrs or so.. it can be very uncomfortable having this pain under the ribs and around the back ..I have had mine feel like it pops out of place.. i push it where it hurts and it does relieve the pain some.. but I too would like to know what this is.. My doctor seems to think it may be a stomach ulcer, although she has admitted herself that’s shes not overly sure what’s wrong. Every once in a while I have pretty severe pains under my ribs. It usually occurs on the right side, but sometimes it can spread to the middle, over to the left slightly and to the middle of my back. It usually feels like there is a bit of swelling. I also have nausea some of the time. The pain usually only lasts for 4-5 hours, but the last pain I've had has lasted from Wednesday around 4 a.m. and has continued through today (Thursday).
