and then that was followed by a lot of gas. I still have the gas problem and I can still feel the pain throbbing in my lower left side once and a while. I drink 1 gallon of water a day and when I take gas pills it seems to work. Also, when I use the bathroom the pulsating pain goes away for awhile. What could this be?

This problem has increased in the past three years. The gas is so smelly and at times the gas causes pain in my lower left side of my back. I eat very healthy I was told my the doctor to increase fiber in my diet to help with my bowl movement and stay away from foods that is prone to cause gas. But if I eat chips I get gas. Do you have any suggestions. I always follow my doctors orders.

I think you should talk with your doctor about this, I asked mine and all he said was I was to young to have a heart attack (i'm 23). Do you ever get pain in your back at the same time, I do and was just wondering?
The pain at night I am almost positive is due to stomach acid and simple heartburn, and my stomach is small so the pain radiates to my back as well. I have helped my symptoms by avoiding fats, caffein, sugar in any form, and alcohol. These foods I find, trigger stomach acid release. I make sure to eat regular meals. I had a lower examination (I forget the word) colonoscopy and also endoscopy and it did reassure me that my insides were ok. I am willing to say it is hormones and diet.
but still i am facing with back pain/constipation/gas trouble. Last 6 months i am into a special project at job which involves continuos working on computers for hours..this has made me live without any execise for last 6 months. Also I had real bad chest congestion which continued for months after which I stopped my habit of smoking and through that chest problems have gone 90%, but still there is a slight muscular pain around my chest.
Even though the good doctor is unaware of such a disease, I too have experienced changes in my heart rythym as a result of stomach gas pressure. I'm a 46 year old male in pretty good health overall and I've been living with the same condition you describe for several years now. When I'm really bloated, my heart rate at rest often becomes rapid and shallow and every so often feels as if it's skipping a beat.
I am 7 weeks pregnant and I have been having gas and indegestion bad. I eat and then end of feeling horrible afterwards no matter what. I try to eat small meals, but sometimes it doesn't always work. Anyone have any ideas? My stomach sticks out and I look like I am 5 months along and it hurts. I know that sounds stupid, but that is the way I feel everytime after I eat.

I would guess mostly no... but I do recall haring pain due to stomach problem as "heart burn"... I assume that's because the pain is high in the stomach and up the throat channel, giving pain higher up in the chest cavity... could this result in pain n the back and shoulder? I'll guess yes in the back, no in the shoulders.
Could be anxiety I know anxiety gives me stomach pain also could be the meds I know before I was diagnosed with anxiety I went to the e.r. with stomach pain and the doc treated me for giardia (without a stool sample, boy was I stupid) Anyway the meds made me way worse on the stomach pain so you might want to check the side effects of what your taking.
It was not like a sharp pain it felt like some one was squeezing my insides and trying to pull it out, after about 10 minutes of pain and after trying to lay down it wasn't helping, so finally I laid down on my right side with my feet up and finally after about 10 more minutes it eased up and I was able to sit back down at my desk but if I move it will send a pain from my rectum through my stomach mostly on the left side and It hurts when I walk but not as bad. What could that be.
I have had stomach pain for the last few years. In the last year it has gotten worse and in the last six months even worse. It is now to the point that it is effecting my daily life. I have some acid reflux, sharp or consistent dull pain on the right side right under my rib cage, I am nauseated a lot of the time. I have thrown up a few times in the night and I want to throw up a lot. I have a lot of gas pressure in my lower abdominal area and sometimes it hurts too bad to stand up straight.

I don't even know if anyone can really answer my question, but it's worth a try. My mom's been very constipated, and is finally going to the bathroom. She took two laxitives under the recommendation of her chemo nurse, I think. (I haven't been home much this week, and haven't been up to date on things) She's been in and out of the bathroom CONSTANTLY today. But what's concerning me is that whenever she walks, she gets a bad pain right in the middle of her stomach.
I have always had stomach issues and now I am not sure if this is my stomach or my heart. Have an appt. with my cardiologist next week. The back pain is really the thing that is bothering me now. I can't make the connection. Can my GERD be causing this back ache? (already had gallbladder removed about 7 years ago) HELP!
he told her to turn the key over--the carbeurator was full of gas and doused him--he had the spark plug in his hand and was knocked back when the gas hit him, he caught his balance and went forward with the spart plug in his hand----and it definitely had a spark. I went outside and his shirt was melted off in the front, the skin was peeling off his chest and hanging off his arm. I poured water over him for 3 hours in the emergency room--then there were 2-3 weeks of debridment.
