I can speak from personal experince; had a gastric bypass and if I overeat or eat too fast and fill up, my nose starts to run. Had a hiatial hernia fixed twice, but because my pouch is smaller than a regular stomach, the runny nose still happens.

I have a real weird pain/tingling feeling in my arms, a stiff painful neck, a headache, stomach pains, sore throat, runny nose and occasional chest pain. The arm pain, neck pain and headache come and go and I can go for hours without feeling them however the sore throat and runny nose is more frequent.

I feel something sharp moving and pushing in my lower stomach, especially when I walk or drive.

Not to detract from your situation though.. I once had a too runny nose also - then had surgery to staighten a deviated septum and open the nose some without removing turbinates. I was good for a few years, then started getting beat-up by the dryness condition. -But the point is I know where you're at, and it is annoying. In my present condition, I see some improvement when eating - apparently because the salivary glands are stimulated and the nose-throat are better moisturized.

Take some over the counter meds for sinus it will help drink niquil at night to help sleep and take some tylenol motrin for the pain...It will be over soon....just think you have probably felt worse when you had a bad cold or a flu but this mess you brought on yourself lets hope its the last time getting sick is due to your own abuse. I am on day 3 and it's not so bad I have just been taking what I can including valium to keep the sick off..

One year olds can sometimes put a foreign body in the nose which can cause runny nose. Check that out with an ENT. Also check out a deviated nasal septum. Hay fever and allergic rhinitis should be ruled out. Persistence of RSV should also be looked into. Normally the food allergens cause only gastric symptoms. However if the allergen is absorbed and reaches the airways it can cause hay fever and asthma like symptoms. Hope this helps.

After 2 weeks from exposure, i had runny nose and mouth and throat ulcers. The runny nose have gone except the mouth and throat ulcers and thus feeling a sore throat. I am really worried. Should the ulcers and sore throat be combined with a rash or fever to be a symptom of hiv?? When can i take a typical antobody test the earliest time after exposure??

A few days shy of a month ago I had protected sex the condom did not break as I know of I asked the guy multiple times.. Last winter when I suffered like you are I actually dabbed Neosporin with the pain relief right in my nose on the sore area and it took the soreness out so I didn't mess with it so much. It gradually healed. I hope that helps.

5 days later, I got a sore throat, runny/blocked nose and a few small mouth ulcers. Then 9 days later, I got a fever which only lasted a day and stomach pain, without diarrhoea. Symptoms completely cleared up a few days later, except the ulcer which lasted a bit longer. At 15 days, I had a duo hiv test which was negative and the doctor said I was not at risk.
