I've been having awful stomach pain in my upper right stomach for almost 24 hours now. It hurts to take deep breaths and nothing seems to relieve it.
I initially thought that it was gas pains, but it just isn't going away. I am belching constantly but have no other symptoms..
I'm wondering what this could be, I know that it isn't normal.
I am a male, 23 years old. I used to be very active, but for the past 3 years, strange things have been going on for me -- most of which I have had tested and been provided no answers.
1. 3 years ago started tons of belching. I belch after I eat as if I need to clear it all out of my chest/stomach. Sometimes it makes me feel as though I'm going to throw up. I feel like none of the food gets digested and sits in my stomach or esophagus.
The symptoms “discomfort around upper stomach and I felt a lump. Also, notice belching, nausea and my stomach would swell” could be due to epigastric hernia, where a part of stomach or intestine herniates. It could in addition be due to acidity and gastric reflux. Possibility of a hiatal hernia too needs to be ruled out.
I suggest you consult a gastroenterologist. Meanwhile eat light. Avoid tea, coffee, smoking, alcohol, spicy and oily food.

last week because for two weeks I had horrible pit stomach pains (dbl over pain), and the belching was horrendous, especially at night. The doctor (I was still belching in his office) listened to my stomach and told me it was acid reflux, bad case apparently. The only time I felt well was when I would not eat anything, not even drink water...lost 2 lbs ...not good.
I was already taking prilosec for two weeks (1 x day), before seeing him.

My mother decided the belching could be due to the lack of food in my stomach...soo...we decided to stop and eat something. After eating a few bites, I immediately had to spit the food out. It's almost as if my mouth told my brain if I didn't spit it out, I'd throw up. I took a sip of my drink and felt the same feeling but forced it down. I immediately went outside to get some air and just felt the sickest I've ever felt.
Its been years for me but my only symptoms was the burning in my stomach & I was belching a lot.... I never did have any pain & I had a lot of gall stones & the Dr. removed my gall bladder & the burning & belching stopped....Good Luck!
About six months ago I started experiencing severe bouts of nausea throughout the day that would be present regardless of whether I ate or fasted. At times, the nausea was so bad I couldn't sleep or function properly causing me to miss work, etc. I deciced to see a GI specialist and he ordered upper endoscopy with biopsy. The results were negative for biopsy and he only saw a mild inflammation around esophagus.
Hello i have a question for some reason my stumach has been inlarged also if pressed the stumach is very hard and with some slight pain if pressed below the chest bone. Have had alot of noise on the lower left side above left hip can feel the growls? also have had diarrhea for the past 3 and a half months some times i do have slight tummy achs but not bad also do have alot os acid refluxe and belching..

About two months ago I started getting some burning/pain in my upper middle stomach. Over the next week it turned into adding bloating and pretty bad gas pains, constant belching, and slight pains in the ribs. The pain isn’t excruciating but it’s just there enough to be all I think about. The gas and bloating is infuriating. I went to my doc and she started me on Pepcid ac. It seemed to help for about a week then stopped helping.
Sorry I posted to the wrong name. Anyhow, I have almost same symptoms as you. Have been dealing with them for almost 6 months. I get nausea like feeling also. I don't burp up , but have alot of belching. Can rub my back, chest, abdomen and belch. Stomach area bloats from time to time. Let me know how your test goes. I will be seeing my gastro Dr. in about 3 weeks. I also have the feeling in my throat. Not so much when I eat, but just swallowing during the day.
d see a doctor if I were you that seems like alot of symptoms. The back pain is no concern, but the chest pain is so make an appointment and get a physical and talk/talk to doctor even when he or she is writing. The more symptoms you speak the better!

along with increased belching, gurgling stomach and lots of undigested vegetables in my stool. I was on aciphex for years because of gerd but was switched to dexilant for gastritis. I have had the belching and gurgling for about 4 months and the upper stomach pain for almost 2 months. i am very regular with my bowel movements (once a day) so i dont see how it could be ibs.
