The pain is so painful it makes me nauseated, or makes me feel like I have to have a bowl movement. The only thing that will make me feel better, is if I drink a sprite soda to belch the gas out. Should I be worried? What should I do?

Avatar m tn Or, if below the kidney, again, it might be gas pain, which an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>canan> come and go as the pockets of gas move along. Pain in the upper right abdomen- could be gallbladder or bile duct, liver, gas in the transverse colon (common place for it to collect), costochondritis (if in the rib cage area up there).
Avatar f tn The intestinal rumbling is constant - as soon as I take the first bite I an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>canan> feel the gas moving inside me, sometimes it even gives me a fright as to how intense it an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>getan>s. It is very painful when it creates gas pockets sometimes leaving me crippled over. I have normal BM's - no diarrhea or constipation, ever. I am regular, everyday. I am curious to know if anyone has any insight on this or has any ideas?
Avatar n tn Hi, Whenever I drink beer (I've never drank enough pop for this to occur), after maybe 2 beers there's a huge gas buildup in my stomach. Unfortunately , I don't know how to burp, and my body never seems to burp by itself. Yesterday I had this problem, and I felt like I was going to throw up...
131817 tn?1209532911 I have been up most of the night with stomach pains and cramps, constipation and gas. Hours later it turned into diarreha and blood. Now it just seems to be blood every 1/2 or so. When I stand up it really feels like I have to go and then just blood. Like a tbs or more of blood. I have checked the web, found Crohn's which my dad had, IBS and hemoroids. Seems to much to be 'roids. I am sure my diet lately hasn't helped.

Avatar n tn Have always had some reflux and heartburn. asked nurse once about phenomenon and was told there are a lot of nerve endings in stomach and gas an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>canan> cause pains elsewhere in body. Found an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r site when searching web and a woman called "soccermom1312" reported almost exact same symptoms back in 2004. I am amazed that someone else had same problem. Browsed an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r site and found many people reporting some of the same symptoms I have.
Avatar n tn Ive been having mild abdominal cramping and light pain all around my stomach for 3 weeks now. I have what feels like gas pockets in my stomach all the time. Never do i have severe pains its more or less just annoying. any ideas what could cause this?
Avatar n tn The x-rays showed that he was full of gas, huge areas of black pockets, couldn't see anything else. His urine and blood test came back and the doc said there was nothing remarkable about them. He sent us home with no answers, no meds, no advice. Later about two hours after the visit to the ER my son had another bout of diarreah, it was quite explosive, and passed a huge amount of gas. He said he felt better but he was still quite distended. He had another bout in the middle of the night.
Avatar f tn I have had the following symptoms for the last month - upper gi pain, gas pockets trapped under the back of my ribs, metal taste in mouth, nausea, heartburn, difficulty swallowing. Blood tests revealed no bacteria that might cause stomach ulcers. I also had my gall bladder removed many years ago. I have been referred to a specialist and have an endoscopy and colonoscopy (due to being in a high risk group) scheduled in 10 days. Today I have developed new symptoms - diarrhea and bloating.
Avatar n tn It always wakes me up. Strang thing is the vibrations stop when I an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>getan> up. I also feel gas pockets during the day. For that I drink a club soda and that makes me burp.. as I said the vibrations are there during the night time when I'm sleeping and it always wakes me up.
Avatar n tn Prevacid is a PPI medication which helps reduce the amount of acid an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r stomach produces, but Gas-x an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>canan> help break up the gas bubbles and pockets to help alleviate the bloating.
Avatar f tn This is because of carbon dioxide gas being pumped into the colon forms air pockets that causes bloating, abdominal cramping and gas pains. an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> should take a walk daily to encourage passage of this gas through flatulence. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> are requested to consult an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Avatar n tn If there was something moving ON an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r stomach an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> would be able to see it. If an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> were pregnant it would show up on a blood test, urine test and ultrasound ESPECIaLLY considering an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> would have to be approx 21 weeks pregnant. If an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> have had all of these tests that are negative and an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> are still convinced an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> are pregnant I suggest an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> seek mental health counseling. The only thing an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> should feel moving in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r stomach is gas anything else is all in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r head. There is no medical explanation.
306389 tn?1213491296 From where I come from, if an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> have had quite a number of surgeries, an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> will an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>getan> air pockets in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r stomach and hence an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> would find an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> have bloatedness in an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r tummy due to the air/gas. It is always recommendable that after a surgery most people in my country drink ginger to relieve the air pockets/or what we call "wind in the stomach". after giving birth we are also asked to consume alot of ginger to relieve the wind in the stomach as well which also causes flatulence.
Avatar f tn at 10 weeks an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r uterus is still tucked under an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan> pelvic bone so that wouldnt be pushing up that high and it isnt the baby either........yet, lol! Could be pockets of gas. That an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>canan> be painful!! Talk to an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r doctor at an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r next visit, I honestly dont really know what it could be but be sure to bring it up to an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>r doctor. Best of luck!!
Avatar n tn I'm wondering if the moving lumps are gas pockets, I have this and they move. The stomach distention maybe just full of gas caused by maybe an overgrowth of yeast(an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>canan>dida). an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>getan> checked for this.
Avatar m tn Hi Nick. I've had a dodgy gut similar to an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>youan>rs for the past few months with the accompanying rumbles. I agree it an style = 'background-color: #dae8f4'>canan> be somewhat embarrassing especially in the context of a quiet lecture hall. I live in the UK too without actually being from the UK. Even before my bowel problems started my stomach tended to rumble a little bit whenever I ate "English food". The missing ingredient was rice! Nice starchy RICE!
