You say "I have a 7 month baby and has the stomach flu." Do you mean you have the flu or the baby has the flu? If the latter, go with the advice from margy. If the former, feed the baby as usual, keeping yourself as hydrated as possible. (Stomach flu doesn't transmit in breast milk.

The term stomach "flu" is actually erroneous (that's not a dig at you, everyone uses that). Almost all stomach "flus" are viral in nature, and have nothing to do with influenza. Unless someone is diagnosed with actual influenza, they don't have a "flu". That's one of those terms that has just grown over the years.

So I've had the stomach flu since Sunday night & its now Thursday morning. I'm starting to get really freaked out that its lasting this long. My symptoms are the usual symptoms, diarrhea, headache, a fever, chills, etc.. I haven't thrown up at all this whole time thankfully. And I thought I was getting better because all the symptoms have went away, except I'm still getting diarrhea. Its just once a day, its not chronic like im running to the bathroom.
I m not a doctor but i dont believe your symptoms are from a simple sinus.

I normally wouldnt be nervous bc it was low risk but i developed symptoms. 5 days post exposure i had flu like symptoms with fever, night sweats, sore throat, achey muscles, ect... gets around. Two days after I started having flu-like symptoms, achiness, intermittent headache, painful swollen glands in my throat and groin, itchiness. My daughter is 16 years old and for the past 4 years she has had chronic stomach pains daily. She has had many blood tests done, a colonscopy, x rays, an ultrasound of her gullbladder, and has had an endoscopy done. Usually her stomach hurts mainly in the morning, and overtime it will go away. But just recently it has been hurting the whole day, everyday. Her diet is normal, doesnt eat junk food, fast food. She eats relatively healthy.
We know that she has gastritis, IBS, and acid reflux.

I thought that i was getting better after a couple of days, but soon was awakened with a stomach flu in the middle of the night, I'm not throwing up anymore, but still have diarrhea and a very consistent pain in my abdomen, which I'm pretty sure is gas. For example his last time he roled over and puked, cried a tiny bit and then he passed right back out. 3 days ago I contracted, what I thougt, was food poisening, but all last week my wife's mother was really sick with something... seems to be a coincidence!
t thrown up(yet) but this diarrhea is killing me is there I can do to make it stop or should I call my dr when her office opens? This is my third child and I've never been sick while pregnant so I don't know what to do. Please help!!
