Anyone else had any stomach flu problems? Try anything u were able to keep down.

I had the stomach flu about a month ago.. I know how you feel! It's awful.. but just stay hydrated, and lots of rest. If you're worried and can't get ahold of your doctor.. you can always go to the er. Once you stop vomiting, and can eat, eat light! Hope this helps!

Hello! This is my first pregnancy, and I just got really sick, I have a terrible flu, can someone give me natural remedies plsss!

Has anyone else had a few stomach viruses during their pregnancy? Is this normal? My first pregnancy I did not experience this so I was wondering if this is common.

The stomach flu is not the flu. The stomach flu is usually caused by the norovirus which is going around as a superbug right now. The flu shot had nothing to do with it.

Omg I totallly feel for you ladies who have been sick your whole pregnacy I have been so lucky to not have those symptoms however I have had the stomach flu for 12 hrs and this is awful straight pain. I now will not.complain about anythig cuz.I'm so helpless there's nothing.

If it only lasted a couple hours and not several days it was food poisoning...most people get it without even knowing it because they automatically label it as "stomach flu" if your doctor said 2 go if it doesn't go away I wouldn't worry about it if it's finally over with...

My 2 yr old son has just vomitted for the 3rd time since I've been home (12am) and 1 more time before that. He pukes and doesn't have a problem passing right back out. For example his last time he roled over and puked, cried a tiny bit and then he passed right back out. 3 days ago I contracted, what I thougt, was food poisening, but all last week my wife's mother was really sick with something... seems to be a coincidence!

I think I caught the stomach flu from my nephew and my moms helper. I am about to be 36 weeks, so is there anything I can do for it, or do I just have to wait it out? I had the flu at the beggining of my pregnancy. I went back to e.r for same thing they gave me an I.v and sent me home with a prescription for gravol. Gravol helps and is safe.

If you can't keep any fluid or food down i would probably go to the hospital. I was so sick at one point in my pregnancy i couldn't even keep stomach acid down. So i got a shot of zofran, a shot of phennigan, some antibiotics, and a couple of bags of fluids through an iv. Plus they hooked me up to a bunch of machines to monitor the baby's heart rate and movement. I was released after a couple of hours but it really helped.

The flu shot is for respiratory flu, not for the stomach flu. A girl I knew got the flu toward the end of her pregnancy and it turned into pneumonia and she had to have an emergency c section at like 30 weeks and she ended up passing away from it never having been able to hold her baby because they had to put her in a medical induced coma. That being said, I have gotten a flu shot with every pregnancy and every year to protect my little ones with weak immune systems.

Hello, These symptoms could be due to gastroenteritis or pregnancy if there is a history of any unprotected intercourse. Hence to confirm the status of pregnancy, I suggest you to test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test. Also then I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.

Haven't posted anything pertaining to my pregnancy in a while so here's an update! last Tuesday on the 13th, my husband and i took our children to the farm show complex. while thete, we saw many animals, cows being shaved and milked, chickens hatching etc. well i began sneezing and coughing uncontrollable but put it off as allergies. The next morning I woke up drenched in sweat and my body ached horribly. I checked my fasting blood sugar and itwas 20!!!!
