Hi Everyone, Same symptoms here! 39 yo female, have been exercising all my life and got those flu-symptoms (upset stomach & throwing up, hot/cold face, extreme fatigue, hammer headache etc..) more and more often in the last 2 years. The funny thing is that it starts within few hours after exercising, never right away. So each time I am thinking I am going to be okay, and then, boom, here it comes. Really frustrating.
I had the h1n1 on 11/14 and the regular flu shot the week prior. My tingling started on 11/27. At first, I thought I had the flu or some kind of virus, because I had cold chills and a little nausea w/ it. But then i had the same thing happen about 5 days later. It would come and go w/ a few good days in between. Now I am tingling everyday.
I saw another post about atrial fibrillation and stomach gas possible association or connection. I too have the same thing so it may not be all in your head if your suspect this to be the case. Most dr.'s think your crazy or never heard of this when you even suggest it. Thats whats wrong with most dr's atleast in my experience in that they don't think outside the box enough possibly because this is what they learned.
The evidence is convincing enough that the Canadian equivalent of the FDA recently “approved” Cold-fx and allows it to bear the therapeutic claim that it “helps to reduce the frequency, severity, and duration of cold and flu symptoms by boosting the immune system.” Cold-fx is available at some compounding pharmacies, natural food stores, and in some national pharmacy chains.
I try to squeeze it out and only a hard stool comes out. 5. The sweating stops and the stomach cramp subsides. I think everything is over and I clean up. I walk out of the toilet and in about 2 minutes time the stomach cramp and the fainting sensation comes back (I've fainted only once to date from this and was out for about 15-20 minutes). 6. When I get back to the toilet I have a really violent Diarrhoea episode in pure liquid state.

About 6 weeks ago I developed a cough, unproductive occasssional bouts left me nauseous and with eyes watering. Generally I had no other cold or flu symptoms. The severity of the cough eased but in the last two days every time I cough (even one gentle cough)I am unable to draw breath afterwards. After I struggle I am able eventually to draw air into my lungs. Note that it sems like a physical prevention rather than just wheezing.
The flu has passed epidemic rates in much of the country, and if you don't have a cold, I'm sure you have a friend who has the sniffles, fever, chills, aches and pains of a viral upper respiratory infection. This is different from a bacterial infection such as sinusitis, bronchitis, or pneumonia. A viral infection doesn't improve with antibiotics as these infections do. A virus hijacks your own body's healthy cells and uses it to reproduce and spread.
The most recent began this past weekend, with what seemed to be a simple episode of the flu -- a fever, sore throat, and general aches and pains. It rapidly turned into a sinus infection, laryngitis, middle ear infection, constant cough, and -- to top it all off and make things just a little more gross -- conjunctivitis.
Also I had taken in mid November I had taken a flu shot and since then I have had muscle aches and twitching all over. Has anyone gone through similar phase? I am TOTALLY in pain and at loss why this is all happening to me. Has anyone recovered fully from these viruses?
00 I got all the tablets I had, over 300, put them all in a bag and returned them to the chemist, and that was the start of my journey into the bowels of HELL!!!!! Below you will find my journey to reality ( Please remember I was suffering greatly when writing, so at times it may seem a bit emotional........and it was. MY JOURNEY THROUGH WITHDRAWAL. Thursday 4pm. Last of the Oxy ( This is how I will refer to the drug from now on.) Nauseaus through the night. Friday 6am.
and given a prescription for Levsin (which we didn't give her due to potential side-effects, including nausea, vomitting, confusiont, blurred vision, etc and having had a bad experience with Reglan her sister took for reflux, we just didn't want to chance it. She had stomach flu a week ago and is not yet back on a normal diet (unable to tolerate milk so far) and I am sure her weight is now back in the 20s. She is complaining several times daily of pain.
From what I've read on the internet, it seems to be much more severe in an adult than in a child. Children get a mild flu-like condition for a few days and a rash. Adults get all over joint pain and fatigue that they wouldn't wish upon their worst enemy. I am like a crippled woman twice my age! I'm 40. Everyone thinks of a rash when they hear I have this. Who cares about a rash? That's no even relevant to me, it's the never ending pain that is the only symptom I care about.
I'm a 43 year old male with a long history of stomach issues. I take prilosec daily and have no idea what a "normal" bowel movement resembles. Sour stomach, cramps, reflux and soft stools are just a part of life for me and I've been able to lead a fairly normal and mobile life in spite of these issues. Six weeks ago, I went to work and took one of my kids w/me. He loves going to the office for some reason and he had nothing better to do on this particular summer day.
Various withdrawal effects may include shakes, shivers, diarrhea, nausea, and possible flu-like symptoms. Not all people experience will all withdrawal symptoms, and some people may experience others not listed here. The length of time withdrawal symptoms occur can range from a couple of days to weeks depending on how high your dose was and how long you were on the drug. Withdrawal symptoms can be reduced by discontinuing use of the drug slowly (i.e., gradually reducing the daily dose).
Patients who are treated with peginterferon alfa-2a receive therapy for a fixed duration of 1 year, but it is possible that a shorter duration of therapy may achieve the same outcomes. Therapy is stopped prior to the standard treatment period of 1 year only if side effects are intolerable, which occurs in less than 5% of patients.
My ten month old has had the flu this week and was previously treated for an ear in fection last week with amoxicillin. After taking it for ten days he woke up today with a horrible break out all over his little face and body. After meeting our doctor at the office on a sat, he seemed to think it was a reaction. We have one dose of benydryl in, but it has actually worsened and spread since this afternnon. It looks horrific!
We asked for the next script to be 50 and she is taking two a day and doing pretty well, still gets headaches and stomach issues but they are tolerable. My question is this, at this point is it better to stretch the time between doses of 50 making it gradually longer and longer, or still do 2 a day but cut them in half?
Today my stomach (Intestines actually, which have thousands of opiate receptors ... BTW ... and they aren't happy about the no more drugs policy, not at all!) feels like someone strong punched me solidly and HARD. But just once. Not ten times like on day 17 and day 18. It also doesn't feel like I have been stabbed 17 times with a dagger in my gut. So, this is progress. It is. What it is. and that is all. I just accept it.
gov/pmc/articles/PMC296201/ Randomized, Single-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of Topical Application of the Immune Response Modulator Resiquimod in Healthy Adults DISCUSSION Topical resiquimod gel was well tolerated when it was applied to healthy human skin as multiple doses of 1 g of 0.01% resiquimod for 24 h three times per week for 3 weeks and as multiple doses of 0.05% resiquimod for 8 h two or three times per week for 3 weeks.
I have severe stomach pains that last for hours, radiating all the wal to my neck and shoulders. I've had blood work, xrays, EKG, treadmill test, echocardigram, they still don't know what it is. I've been on prilosec, for over a year, combined with other drugs for ulcers, allong with prednizone, and now recently they put me on buspar, because they think it all in my head,(stress) What do I do now?
Other symptoms i've noticed at times coming along with the pain like for instance this morning was within 30 minutes of getting out of bed having to have a BM which was foul smelling and the consistency of diarrhea yet I was not sick to my stomach or no nausea, so I know it's not a flu bug. Well something else to think about, since we've all apparently had CT scans/MRI's for the pain and seen different dr's.
I got more solid sleep because I did what most adults refuse to do, I got up for a couple hours and LET MYSELF go to freaking bed again lol. I promised my body that it gets whatever it wants, just no cigarette. My brain was repeating it as I slept, in a dream I was writing for others how to get through the first 24 hours.. I am SO TENSE hahahaha, but no creeps. I am strong. I may be giving YOU the creeps though loool. Kathy I read everything to help me prepare.
) The vagus nerve also contributes to a network of nerves surrounding the esophagus (the muscular tube carrying food from the mouth to the stomach.) After taking a bite of food the vagus nerve can be stimulated by expansion of the esophagus to let food pass through causing the heart rate to slow down and light headedness results. If fainting results this condition is known as deglutition syncope which translated means swallow fainting.
I work in a hospital in the dietary department and was sick a week ago and took some orange cough medicine. But i also seemed to have a stomach bug. My poo has been an orangy yellow color lately and im a bit concerned about it. I feel like ive ingested too much orange...beta carateine perhaps? I had done some research on genetically modified foods recently and it seems that beta carateine has been put into foods like rice to help with peoples eyesight.
There are some periods throughout the day where it's not laboured and I feel as if I breathe normally, but then it creeps up on me and I have to start yawning again. My nose feels very clogged all the time and my chest, stomach, and back muscles feel very constricted when breathing. It's especially noticeable when I am working out...especially running and lifting weights. I have to stop every once in a while just to yawn (frustrating) to stop from getting dizzy.
