Hoping to find some help. I cannot find a doctor in the Bay Area that will prescribe Fentanyl anymore, so I am forced to suddenly stop taking it. I also Mitral valve regurgitation that I only need to have trimmed. How dangerous will it be for me to suddenly stop the Fentanyl 100mcg? I do have Oxycodone 5mgs for breakthrough pain. will the Oxycodone help? I am despite for help.
I am finding it very difficult to work at the moment, and have been told that it could take a couple of weeks before I can get a second bilirubin count. Swine flu has recently hit this area pretty hard, so all the doctors are pretty swamped, so I can understand this. However, I am very much in the dark.
My question is mainly, do these test results support the H. Pylori diagnosis? If not, is there anything obvious which would?
This is a two part question...
Firstly, I get these small raised patches of skin on mainly my arms. But have seen them on my legs, and more rarely the top of my foot and my buttcheek. They are all ~1 millimeter in diameter (so quite small). They consist of raised red skin inside the circle. On the outside there is a more defined red boarder in the shape of a 'C' or horseshoe. While the whole thing is a circle, but raised boarder doesn't go all the way around.
This was about six weeks ago, a few days after I came down with a flu bug which may have just been from traveling but also noticed a my testicles were red and seemed irritated, I also had a constant urge to pea for about 12 hours. The doc gave me cypro as well for 5 days. I went to my doctor, who ran tests for my normal bloodwork as well as STD's, he did blood, urine, and a penile swab, all came back clean and clear.
Thanks for your response. Since i wrote in yesterday morning with the swollen pubic area i have developed more symptoms. These are high fever, body aches and pains including headache & i also threw up repeatedly over a 6 - 8 hour period. I now feel really unwell & ive also noticed that my stomach area seems a little swollen too although the swelling in the pubic area seems to have gone down.
Long story short, in past five years I have had seven counts of intercourse with sex workers, all protected veginal and sometimes unprotected oral. Last v sex I had was 18 months ago. Ever since I had many tests up to one year. Including two fourth gen at 4 weeks and 8 month. 3 months after last exposure I came down with bad cold and flu ( exactly three month) but it's been more than one year I haven't feeling sick at all except minor conditions. No cold and flu whatsoever.
I had my last ovary taken out on 6/17 and it was done out of town (bay area) which is 2 hrs from me. I had a large benign mass also. My question is on my 2 week appt, my dr said that I have a seroma. I can see bulging on half the incision, additionally, now I have pain when I even put my arms across my stomach. The pain radiates to a lump under the incision. I am assuming that is the seroma. My question is, will this drain on it's own or will the dr. drain it? If so, how often?
I think I have some kind of stomach flu and have had diaherria all day. I'm a ftm and am worried about it being bad for the baby. Has anyone else gotten sick while pregnant?

My 2 yr old son has just vomitted for the 3rd time since I've been home (12am) and 1 more time before that. He pukes and doesn't have a problem passing right back out. For example his last time he roled over and puked, cried a tiny bit and then he passed right back out. 3 days ago I contracted, what I thougt, was food poisening, but all last week my wife's mother was really sick with something... seems to be a coincidence!
t thrown up(yet) but this diarrhea is killing me is there I can do to make it stop or should I call my dr when her office opens? This is my third child and I've never been sick while pregnant so I don't know what to do. Please help!!
You say "I have a 7 month baby and has the stomach flu." Do you mean you have the flu or the baby has the flu? If the latter, go with the advice from margy. If the former, feed the baby as usual, keeping yourself as hydrated as possible. (Stomach flu doesn't transmit in breast milk.
Hello everyone! I am about to move to the Bay Area (Sunnyvale) and I am completely new go California weather. My baby (my first one,so I am totally unexperienced) is due at the end of December and I have no clue about what kind of clothing should I buy for her. Are regular cotton, long-sleeve onesies enough? Or maybe something heavier?
