Hi, I'm 5 weeks and I've been experiencing minor cramps after eating followed by heartburn....is this normal?
My stomach feels uncomfortable with cramps and after I eat, I burp, and get gas and my stomach even gurgles. I have had cramps in my stomach over the last 10 years but now I get a lot of gas, burping and gurgling and I get nausea too. Once the gas releases it helps release some of the cramps. I can't eat very much.
What could it be and what kind of test should I get?
I had a ultra sound done and also had my stool checked and they both are normal.
Dav125 you make a good point that I didnt really think about, I havent been eating too well and that may be the reason for these cramps. I have been having days where I get the major munchies and can just eat anything around until I feel sick like the never ending empty stomach and then other times cant eat much for days.
I have been having these really bad stomach cramps after I eat but, I only get them if I miss a meal or two in a row. I'm not belimic or anything I just don't feel like eating or feel dissinterested in food. The cramps are so bad that I don't eat my fill because I'll start cramping and hunger cramps hurt less than the cramps I get after I eat. So, I get myself stuck in this vicious cycle, if I eat it hurts, if I don't eat it'll just keep hurting.
I would recommend you talk to your doctor about trying eliminating 100% of all lactose from your diet for 2 weeks to see if that helps.
For the last 2 weeks I have had problems with nausea, vomitting, lightheadedness, stomach cramps and gas. After I eat I feel very nausead like I am going to be sick but for the last couple of days I have been getting sick randomly even if I don't eat. And when I am done eating I still feel like I am starving. I'm not sure what is going on and would like some input.
I had some toast and potatoes. But im still cramping. I feel so guilty for crying now. Even if I start to spot is it wrong to go to the hospital?
I have mild food allergies to peanuts, wheat, milk and eggs. When I eat peanuts my mouth burns and feels sore and then I get horrible stomach cramps followed by severe diarrhea, when I eat wheat I get sick with stomach cramps and diarrhea, when I eat eggs my throat feels itchy and swollen, when I eat diary products I have a hard time breathing and can get sick enough to vomit because of all of the mucus production.
Why do I get bad cramps in stomach an intestines after eating medjool dates and date rolls? I have been eating them for the past two months but now have just started to be affected in the past two weeks. My Dr. gave me Nexium yesterday but I wonder if I should have received some antibiotics instead. Now when I eat them I get massive cramps that are very painful and won't go away unless I take a few acidophilus pills. Any suggestions?

t eat for too long it will make your stomach hurt alot, and the other way round too. I have problems eating alot of the time and thats one of the main reasons that i get tummy pains a lot of the time. You need to get a regular eating pattern. I know how hard it can be when you end up in pain afterwards and feel sick, trust me i know, but its the only way to sort it.
For a while now my stomach has been getting a bloated feeling after eating and at some point i will almost always start getting a bunch of gas (flatulence) , This bloating usually happens after i eat, and it is especially noticable after i eat like my morning cereal or if i eat like oatmeal. Also when im eating sometimes it feels like i have to take deep breaths. My doctor thought it might be an ulcer or something, but i got a GI and it showed i digested fairly normally.
