7746659 tn?1393923237 I would have to do some reading up on this issue in dogs. I am somewhat familiar with delayed motility in people so am assuming the "mechanics", so to speak are the same. Sounds like he has an irritated gut too. He needs to be on a bland food that is easily digested. Try cooking up some chicken (no skin) and rice and you could add some vegetable like shredded zucchini.
Avatar f tn However, I'd discourage her from launching in such a way, it's not the greatest habit anyway. My son kicked me in the stomach (not hard) in early pregnancy and I lost the pregnancy, and although I pretty much know the two are not related, I stressed about it anyway and emotionally sort of felt like that hurt the pregnancy. You don't want to stress every time Fifi kicks off.
Avatar n tn I think everything is over and I clean up. I walk out of the toilet and in about 2 minutes time the stomach cramp and the fainting sensation comes back (I've fainted only once to date from this and was out for about 15-20 minutes). 6. When I get back to the toilet I have a really violent Diarrhoea episode in pure liquid state.
7558356 tn?1410718909 Back pain is a quite common sign of impending labor. In fact sometimes back pain may in fact be contractions. OR MAYBE... you're just getting back pain from the extra weight and pressure of baby. Blood Pressure: Often blood pressure may go up in the last one or two days before labor begins.OR MAYBE... it's an indication of other problems that your doctor will need to check. Bloody Show: When you wipe, you may notice a brown or red display of blood that means labor is close. OR MAYBE...
525485 tn?1314364901 this may be a little TMI but the worst is when I get a BH contraction and my stomach balls all up.....in the middle of it..makes it quite uncomfortable because its like he cant even put any pressure on me....and all he says is...maybe we shouldnt be doing this. I assure him that its okay and its not going to hurt anything. They did an internal at the hospital yesterday and no change. She says I am still the same, about 1+ and 80% so nothing is happening.
Avatar n tn It felt like tiny bubbles were popping all up and down the backs of my legs- especially in my thighs. It does not hurt in the least. In fact, it's actually a pleasant feeling. I stretch well before and after exercising. It is during the stretching that I notice the feeling, but I think it starts when I'm running. I'm just too busy to notice it then. Should I be concerned about this?
Avatar f tn I am 36+5 and am having an odd experience was hoping someone can tell me whats going on. my stomach is going hard like with contractions but there is no pain and under the belly button is going flat when this happens. It feels very strange and is happening every few minutes. Any thought about what might be happening.
Avatar f tn He has an appointment with the vet to see what's going on, but I really wanted to know if anyone else has experienced the abdominal contractions and the other symptoms in their dogs and what the outcome was so I'll know what to expect. Thanks.
8377023 tn?1399512760 My kitten is normally feisty and playing. But lately she sleeps in my lap right up next to my stomach. Im 37+4 weeks and I mean she will do this every so often but its never been for hours at a time. She also just saw Bella move for the first time and her reaction was priceless. Im just wondering if she knows something is about to happen or not?
Avatar f tn As long as you are not having any pain or bleeding contractions you most likely are fine. Baby is well protected in there. Kick back and relax for a bit, im sure all is well. But if you still feel unsure call your dr. They may want you to come in just to be safe.Good luck.
4601190 tn?1357342463 Right now she is curled up on me (she is a miniature schnauzer). I think some dogs are in tune with us more than we know so maybe your pooch does feel like something is different about you right now.
Avatar n tn As of wednesday I have been having ctx which are in my hips back and stomach. They get timable for an hour or so then quit and come back. I am so lost as to what's going on.
121828 tn?1333468091 The baby would only be in real danger if you fell while in motion directly on your stomach. Believe me,I know. I was just in my second car accident during this pregnancy. The first was at 6 mnths andthe second was yerterday and I'm 36 weeks. Both times I was hit but neither time did my stomach hit anything. The baby is very well protected inside. There is a ton of stuff surrounding him/her. Watch for bleeding, cramping, contractions etc. Call your dr if you're worried.
Avatar f tn ever since then I've been having this VERY bad cramping pain in my stomach. I'm scared because I just went into preterm labor a week ago and now idk if its happening again?
Avatar n tn been a long time since i gave birth, but sounds like nesting and "cleaning" out of your system. Good luck (and good luck making it through the weekend!) Enjoy that new baby! Prayers!
1395422 tn?1308019851 my water broke at 23 weeks, and i honestly didn't want to admit that i was going into labor, so i waited 24 hours before i went in, and yup, i was in labor.
1083673 tn?1388892238 Some dogs are sensitive to sezizures and will pay extra attention to people when they display symptoms. contractions in a way are VERY similar to sezizures so its possible your dog is picking up on them.

4541337 tn?1364853800 Stress can cause you to have issues in the pregnancy, yes. I understand about how hard it is to try to not stress, Im having whoppers of stress issues myself with school, family, etc. Its hard to cope but try finding ways to relieve yourself. Taking walks, reading, listening to music or even keeping a journal are a few things that might help.
Avatar f tn Luckily my husband literally walked through the door 2mins later. contractions started 2hrs later and I was in full blown labour within an hour. Delivered 5hrs later.
Avatar f tn Honestly as soon as it broke I ran to the bathroom because I didnt want to be sitting in that and my contractions actually made me have to poop so I did and when I had my son I didnt on him so it all worked out for me lol :)

5981907 tn?1383752469 With each baby I have felt an increase in bh towards the end. They increased in frequency and duration before changing over to the big dogs.....eventually.
Avatar m tn There can be anywhere from 10 minutes up to almost an hour in between puppies, so don't panic if another puppy isn't right on the heels of the first one. When the contractions start again, remove the nursing puppies from the mother and put them in a separate box that has a heating pad on the bottom on a low setting. Cover the heating pad with a towel so that the puppies are not directly on the pad.
Avatar f tn It is usually more expensive and riskier fir the female due to the increased blood supply and how far along she is. If she is scheduled to be spay, I assume by a Vet, they should be able to determine if she is pregnant. I can understand the rescue/short on funds issue but I think it would be wise to have her checked and weigh your options then. You don't mention the breed and who knows, if she was bred, with what other breed. Could pose a health risk for her. Please update and good luck.
Avatar f tn Oxy would help expell this or any left or crud inside her,if we'd not gotten so far down the road you could have used calcium to be sure her contractions explelled residue or a placenta... as it would help her in a natural way to keep contractions at a constant level, her own body making the contractions strong NOW you'll need to use a chemical means to clean her out.... this may not be what is going on(?) but an Oxy shot will not hurt her just to be sure she is clean and clear after her pups.
177465 tn?1288242063 like wonderme says maybe give doc a call, remember labour is different for every woman, a friend of mine said when she was in full blown labour it felt like mild stomach cramps! lucky her!
667078 tn?1316004535 Then the contractions start if the medicine does not kick in. The contractions come every few minutes. I sweat profusely. With out the tranquilizer which melts under my tongue the contractions are so violent I just do not want to fight to breath. The connective tissue in my chest gets pulled and with out the medicine it tears. It takes several days to recover and without the medicine several weeks. I can honestly say there is no pain like it.
544292 tn?1268886268 Hi Friends! Welcome all Tramadol warriors. We're all very glad to see you. Please come in and share.
