Then they did a scope in her stomach that showed cancer. So they determined the cancer started in her stomach and was a rare fast growing agressive cancer already in stage 4. She had heavy rounds of Chemotherapy for a few months and they did another CAT and MRI ( idk why since they couldn't see her type of cancer and tumors from the MRI and CAT previously) they did not see any tumors in these scans after chemo but she was getting worse and vomiting 7 or more times daily.
Vague but persistent gastrointestinal complaints such as gas, nausea, indigestion.
Frequency and/or urgency of urination.
Any unexplained change in bowel habits.
Abnormal postmenopausal bleeding.
Weight gain or loss.
Abdominal swelling and/or pain; bloating and/or a feeling of fullness.
Pain during intercourse.
If vague symptoms persist longer than 4-6 weeks, insist on a thorough rectovaginal examination.
Hi I dont want to sound like im a hypercondriac but the abdomial pain that women experince with ovarian cancer is it lower or upper pain. I have upper stomach pain for over a yr now. It comes and goes its really high like right under the v part the ribs and top of stomach. I had a scope down the throat and and stomach they said there is redness and iritation there and had colonosopy also both done in june.
m not a doctor, I still think that the endoscopy would be a good idea to have done. It may be able to tell you the exact cause of your stomach pain, chest burning, etc., so that you can be treated properly - treat the CAUSE of the troubles rather than just treating the symptoms.
Again, I'm no doctor, but unless there were severe unforeseen complications with the procedure, any side effects such as nausea, throat pain - of the endoscopy itself should go away after a short time.
for more than two years i have stomach pain it use to start at lower left abdomen now it starts on left but midway across from navel

Six months is a too long time and you should have got evaluated by now. Stomach diseses, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, stomach cancer all can lead to nausea and loss of appetite. Do you also have yellowish discoloration of your skin, eyes and urine? That could be due to gall bladder disease or hepatitis. Eat small healthy meals. You need to consult a primary care physician. He will further refer you to a gastroenterologist.
I also probably should have mentioned that we have a family history of stomach cancer and stomach ulcers, which is also what got me to thinking this.
My diet, when I do manage to get it down, is good - no worries there. I do not smoke, and drink alcohol occasionally.
My specialist told me about an endoscopy but he said he didn't think I needed one, so instead, told me to wait. Do you really think it's worthwhile going back?
Unbeknownst to me, soon after getting in bed he became quite ill with nausea and pain in the stomach and testicles. He was distressed with this condition all night long and got no sleep nor was he able to regurgitate anything. He's been sleeping off most of today without eating anything yet and drinking very little of the plain camomile tea I made him.
He's had at least 1 bowel movement and relieved his bladder too. No fever, color's good/normal.
I had surgery for stomach cancer Feb 5, 2013 and it was determine that the cancer had gotten into my lip nodes. I completed chemo, chemo/radiation and more chemo. Now that my treatment is completed I still have pain on my upper left side and the doctors have not been able to determine the cause. I’ve had EGD, CT, small bowel series, and x-rays.
I am taking 4-5 pain pills (Norco) daily. The pain varies from moderate to severe. Anyone have any other ideas or suggestions this is driving me crazy.
ve always had problems with my digestive system. There are times that I go 4-5 days without going to the bathroom. I am always constipated, and when I eat my stomach becomes really bloated to the point that I look pregnant. I've always had this problem, sometimes when I do go to the bathroom I bleed a lot, and sometimes very little. Also when I eat the upper part of my stomach begins to hurt.
thought hernia meant a pain which demobilised you? What are the symptoms of cancer??? I do worry, used to smoke cigars once.
I am 29. I am 230lbs and gaining weight, not fat but muscular. I have no pale complexion or other signs of cancer except one thing.......yellow/white colouring to the tongue is frequent for me, though I also suffer from cattargh.

My Mom is 66 and was diag in Feb 08 with stage 3C Ovarian Cancer. She had surgery and did chemo of Taxol and Carboplatin. She has been sick ever since! She got Rhumatoid Arthritis very bad from it ..then Pnumonia..then her stomach just hurt and hurt and she could not eat. Her GI doctor said it was Narcotic Bowl Syndrome from her Fentanyl patch of 25 mic. She had 6 trips in and out of the hospital (since Feb 09). Finally last week her CA 125 was 262 and they could not do a colonoscopy..
