Avatar f tn Its like a sharp but kinda dull stabbing pain in my lower stomach it comes and goes but its awfully uncomfortable. Should i be worried ? My sister said it could be round ligament pain but im only 6weeks?
Avatar f tn My stool appears to have mucus in It, along with some slight constipation. I immediately ran to Dr. Google and Webmd. Needless to say, I think I have cancer now. Health anxiety *****. Like being a prisoner of my own body.
Avatar f tn Off and on again flank pain/r side testicke pain. Went to Urgent care today finally. No UTI. Went to hospital. NECT done. No signs of cancer, inflammation or stones. Urologist referral. No known history/trauma. Any thoughts before I WebMD myself in a panic?
Avatar n tn By all means YES...cheese, milk and all commercial dairy products should be avoided. You are just clogging your system and introducing toxins like hormones and antibiotics to your already weak system. Google 'dairy products and cancer' and you will see how many websites are against eating dairy products when one has cancer cancer. But there are some websides that will call it quackery. Read them too and compare.
Avatar m tn You can look this up on the web. I just googled and look at WEBMD. According to that site, if it you take too much long term, it can have affects like, constipation, upset stomach and kidney stones. I don't see anything about taking it for a short term. If you are concerned, make sure you drink plenty of water. WEBMD suggests 2000IU per day for an adult.
Avatar m tn The specific treatments depend on the stage of cancer --how big the tumor is and how far the cancer has spread. ( again that was from webmd. Don't worry yourself too much. Go see a Dr and ask for his opinion on test. I believe they can take blood to test but I'm not sure. I know its a scarey feeling but you will be alright.
Avatar f tn It can be a number of different things from infection to cancer. What di her doctor say? Caner usually does not hurt in early stages and lumps are usually under the skin. Inflamatory cancer shows up as a breast infection with skin changes that look like an orange peel. There are a lot of sites on line that have pictures. webmd, medscape.
Avatar f tn If the Pap test and HPV-DNA test come back normal, should I assume I am at a very low risk of developing cervical cancer (as WebMD says) and just keep on with the regular recommended Pap test schedule (I believe it is Paps every 3 years or every 5 years with co-HPV-DNA testing) or do I need to be put on a schedule of more frequent pap tests (annually?) as this may have been a recent exposure? 3.
167426 tn?1254086235 He may be at home on screen at Seattle Grace Hospital, but on Tuesday Patrick Dempsey made a special appearance at the Central Maine Medical Center, to announce plans for a new cancer center to be named in his honor. Scheduled to open March 31, the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing was inspired by his mother, Amanda Dempsey, who fought ovarian cancer – and who is now cancer free, reports Maine's Kennebec Journal.
Avatar f tn With my daughter, my first symptom was leaking colostrum. At the time I looked on WebMD and it said either you are in the second to third trimester of pregnancy or you have breast cancer. I was still getting my period so I thought breast cancer. A few weeks later I missed my period, went in, and I was 22 weeks pregnant.
788117 tn?1304011947 Have you considered having weekly total calories eaten and expended like WebMD? They also allow for tracking the calories expended doing specific daily activities like sleeping, desk work, shopping, etc. That way you can account for all the calories you burn in one day (not just those related to exercise) and compare them to all the calories you consume. I like their diet tracker very much but I like that Med Help has trackers for my migraines, my mood, etc.
Avatar n tn Not necessarily. Stomach cancer can often have negative blood work (except you may be anemic). However it is much much more likely that you have something like an ulcer causing the black specks. Stomach cancer is very rare! How old are you?
Avatar f tn Six months is a too long time and you should have got evaluated by now. Stomach diseses, gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, stomach cancer all can lead to nausea and loss of appetite. Do you also have yellowish discoloration of your skin, eyes and urine? That could be due to gall bladder disease or hepatitis. Eat small healthy meals. You need to consult a primary care physician. He will further refer you to a gastroenterologist.

60505 tn?1313946644 "I am a 46yo (white) female, I have been checking statistics for stomach cancer and I do see as a female and with my race the odds are very low. For the last 2 months I have been getting stomach "pain" more uncomfortable than pain, along with a feeling of "fullness" sometimes with a sense of nausea. No weight loss. I would say I have been getting indigestion and reflux for as long as I can remember.
Avatar f tn I also probably should have mentioned that we have a family history of stomach cancer and stomach ulcers, which is also what got me to thinking this. My diet, when I do manage to get it down, is good - no worries there. I do not smoke, and drink alcohol occasionally. My specialist told me about an endoscopy but he said he didn't think I needed one, so instead, told me to wait. Do you really think it's worthwhile going back?
Avatar m tn I am very disturbed that the discomfort is not going. I have made 4 trips to the doctor and he is not worried. Do I have stomach cancer ? what should I do now ?
Avatar m tn This is not water retention, pregnancy, or PMS. However, I recently discovered through WebMD what a stomach ulcer is. I have been taking an excessive amount of Ibuprofen, as in like 7-8 popping them everyday/everyother day earlier this month when I would be sore. This is super bad, but is this the source of my discomfort? And if it is, what steps should I take. This is causing me sooooo much stress, please any responses would be highly appreciated!
Avatar f tn Quick Info: Im 34, no cancer in family, less grandad and uncle on dad side and both were prostate cancer. So, when I was 22 (2001) had a CYST removed by surgery. Benign, of course. Now, found lump. Went to GYN, referred to Oncologist, he said no cyst, but definite lump/mass. Not moving like cyst. So, having surgery on Wed (Today is Friday)...... I have pain, so I'm guessing it;s not cancerous, butof course there's always a possibility.
Avatar f tn It just feels like my stomach is on fire, but not (and this is totally TMI for me because I'm very modest) gassy. And it feels like my insides are being crushed--- my insides just hurt and burn. I can't even tell where all it hurts some of the time. But it's not in my throat or chest.
