For some quick updates – the initial 3 cycles of navelbine/gemzar did not really work – ok, the cancer did not progress but it did not shrink the cancer. We switched to doxil for 3 cycles and have been told that it worked. There is only very little ascities left and the cancer shrunk, to quote the doctor, ‘to the size of his finger tip’. We have discussed the options – one is to continue with another 3 cycles and the other to have another operation.

I am a couple days away from 27 weeks now but she is measuring 5 days above my due date. She was breech but i think she has turned now i feel her kicking more at the top of my stomach where as before i felt her kick at the bottom of my stomach. I still feel her move at the bottom but it's more like her moving not kicking. We will find out when we go for our next sonogram next friday 12/10. I am feeling more pressure below also.

She made a point to make friends with cancer patients and would call them up to check on them to the extent that she ended up counseling some of the family members of the cancer patient friends she made. Hi! I am 33 weeks 5 days..My baby girl and I are doing wonderfully...other than the fact I think she is breech..I feel a lot of kicking and movement at the bottom of my stomach..but her heartbeat is strong and my blood pressure is awesome! I'm so nervous AND excited! This is my first pregnancy and I am so blessed I have such an amazing support system with my husband and family and all you ladies on here! My father is infected by adenocercinoma (cancer) in his stomach(prepyleric area).this in moderate stage and well differentiated. "I am a 46yo (white) female, I have been checking statistics for stomach cancer and I do see as a female and with my race the odds are very low. For the last 2 months I have been getting stomach "pain" more uncomfortable than pain,along with a feeling of "fullness" sometimes with a sense of nausea. No weight loss. I would say I have been getting indigestion and reflux for as long as I can remember.

I also probably should have mentioned that we have a family history of stomach cancer and stomach ulcers, which is also what got me to thinking this. My diet, when I do manage to get it down, is good - no worries there. I do not smoke, and drink alcohol occasionally. My specialist told me about an endoscopy but he said he didn't think I needed one, so instead, told me to wait. Do you really think it's worthwhile going back?

I am very disturbed that the discomfort is not going. I have made 4 trips to the doctor and he is not worried. Do I have stomach cancer ? what should I do now ?

For about 2-3 months my stomach has been giving me this really bad pain, but it goes away after about an hour. It comes after I eat sometimes and then other times it just comes up whenever. It's not just in one spot it's my whole stomach, and sometimes i get this feeling where I need to throwup but it goes away in 5-10 minutes. Here is the latest update on Cindy. Her chemo is not working. The cancer is spreading and aggressive. It is now on both sides of her pelvis and she needs a stent put back in. 1 kidney is getting blocked off. Her liver is a mess, with more cancer than before, also tumors on artery leading to liver. Tumors on spine, right lung, stomach etc. Drs say something needs to work real soon. Will try avastin and another chemo on Christmas eve. Her CA is rapidly rising. I will update more as I know it.

our child who is in kindergarden seems to sick a lot this school year. stomach virus/fever in december, sore throat/fever in feb., sore throat/fever in march, and today low fever w/scratchy throat. she seems otherwise healthy but i always think the worst. is this common w/kindergarden age kids? can fevers be that common? any insight would be great. thanks.

30 for awhile, but her naps seem to be changing around. Although we have had a rough few weeks, my aunt passed and my mom was diagnosed with cancer and she is staying in WI, so we have been gone every weekend and she has been sleeping in bed with us and like to nurse all night then, so I am working to go back to her STTN again.. I miss my sleep and need it now!!!! She loves to eat solids, I havent tried one thing she has yet to like.

i know! welcome second trimester!! i'm definitely less nauseous, but still tired all the time. my stomach is still a wreck, and i'm losing hope that i'll ever remember what it's like to not be bloated and have gas!;) the happiness of a smooth pregnancy far outweighs that, however, and i was thrilled that in the last couple of days people have looked at me and asked if i'm pregnant! starting to show at last......

23 weeks tomorrow March 17th-ish Boy Things are going well. No real complaints. Finally broke down and bought a humidifier last week to put in our room. My sinuses were driving DH crazy at night. My hips tend to hurt quite a bit at night too due to the constant side sleeping. I also sem to have reverted back to trimest 1 when it comes to tiredness. I can't seem to stay away past 10om anymore. I am definitely feeling him kick more and more these days which is nice.

To get more information, you are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer? Clay colored stools can often be the result of medications that you are taking which you should discuss with your doctor. It may be indicative of an underlying problem. Issues with the gall bladder, the bile duct system can be possibilities.

,for the past 10 months,whenever i eat something,my abdomen started paining,,, i was forced to stools with gas formation,,, until the stomach is completely empty, no loss of appetite, i felt very hungry ,but was afraid of eating, because of the loose stools,, d stools were semi liquid with some foam type thing, now i m surrering d same problem again in month of june doctors examined me with all sorts of test which included colonoscopy,,ultrasound,,some blood tests,,urine & stool tests,,test

Liver cirrhosis is also another very common reason for this type of buildup and bloating. And cancer such as ovarian cancer that can have very few notable symptoms until things like ascites appears. She really needs a full work up. I think what you are also saying though is that she is non compliant for getting medical help. Or has been previously. Sometimes it takes a health crisis such as she is having to force that issue. Please give us any updates.

end lf the teeth wall it has the swelling nurves. if anyone knows this is teeth problem or mouth cancer syptoms.i am scared to death.please help me.

) Also, my appetite has kicked in again.... I am going in to give more blood this week to do the last of the 2nd trimester tests. I think this is where they test for spina bifida and one other disorder. I am tired of giving blood, but if it for the sake of the baby then so be it. :) Also...if anyone is in full swing maternity clothes...do you have any store recommendations? I am just at the edge of my cothes and would love to have a few new things for work.
