Avatar m tn Hi i'm 23 years old and i'm worried i've got stomach cancer as i've read a lot of things on the internet about it.
Avatar n tn Celiac disease causes a huge range of symptoms, and it's important to rule it out. Estimates are that 1 in 120 to 1 in 130 people have it. I believe I read that only Asian people are not susceptible to it. It's important to find out because if you have it and you don't stop eating gluten, you can end up with autoimmune diseases and even cancer. There are blood tests for it now.
Avatar f tn If your only symptom is stomach gurgling, i wouldn't worry about cancer. My guess would be something like you're not producing enough digestive enzymes, or possibly have too much or too little stomach acid. I would try 2 things; a digestive enzyme before you eat, and a probiotic (7 strains 10 billion or more cultures). If you have a fairway or whole foods nearby go there and someone will be able to help you pick these things up.
Avatar f tn For the past few days I have been feeling very nauseous after eating, sometimes with heartburn and sometimes without heartburn. What scares me is that a few years ago I had experience some blood on my toilet paper, sometimes it was a decent amount. I am also lactose intolerant. After switching to a plant based diet i haven't seen any blood, it's been about 2 years.
Avatar m tn The last few years my diet has consisted of waking up early morning, having 3-4 coffees with a bunch of cigarettes on an empty stomach, taking my diabetes pills along with blood thinners and cholesterol medication, all on an empty stomach. And when I did eat a meal, I always overdid it, eating more than my stomach could take. I'd get heartburns like crazy and just fed rolaids to it.
Avatar m tn Hey guys, I didn't want to post this in the stomach cancer forum because I doubt it's cancer and I was afraid nobody would see it. So basically from around Christmas time I developed pretty bad diarrhea. Grim, I know. But this went on until around the second week of January. I put it down to drinking, eating crap and not being to the gym over Christmas, new year and my birthday. Anyway, it subsided for about a week and came back.

Avatar m tn I rarely have trouble with this now that I am being treated for anxiety (and depression), but I went about a year in college thinking I had stomach or intestinal cancer because it got so bad sometimes. Exercise, and eating more fruits and vegetables, helped a bit. I also remember drinking peppermint tea and ginger tea - these helped with the aches and churning. My friend (also an anxiety sufferer) had some good results with that Activia yogurt..
Avatar n tn I have a couple relatives who had colon cancer. Lots of blood in the toilet is indicative of that kind of cancer, altho not the sole symptom. As for other growths, you could get an inexpensive plane black & white X-ray at an emergency room of your abdomen, and if there's no large black area where it shouldn't be, I think you can wait for your insurance so your physician can decide what investigations to do.
Avatar f tn these pills seem to help with my eating though but my question was if i have advanced stomach cancer would antibiotics help it or not.
Avatar n tn Hello, Gender: Male Age: 24 Weight: around 140 lbs. I have burping every 10-15 minutes almost for two months. It has not gone away. Sometimes when I sit and dont move my body a lot the burping slows down, meaning I wont have burp until 17 or 18 minutes have gone by. I don't get nauseated. I get a dull pain that goes away but doesn't happen everyday. I am worried it might be stomach cancer. I hope someone will shed light on this.
